    Abstract: A photovoltaic power generation system includes an inverter, a controller, and at least two direct current branch circuits. The leakage current detection apparatus is configured to: detect a leakage current of the direct current branch circuit on which the leakage current detection apparatus is located and send the leakage current to the controller. The controller is further configured to: when the photovoltaic power generation system runs and a value of a leakage current of the direct current branch circuit exceeds a preset range, determine that an insulation fault occurs on the direct current branch circuit. The system can determine the direct current branch circuit on which the insulation fault occurs in the photovoltaic power generation system, so that measures are taken in time for the direct current branch circuit on which the insulation fault occurs, to eliminate a potential safety hazard.

    Abstract: Compositions and methods for treating a mammalian subject for an optic nerve (ON) neuropathy and/or reducing or ameliorating degeneration of axons and/or soma of RGCs are provided. Aspects of the composition include a mammalian viral vector, comprising a murine g-synuclein promoter, or functional fragment thereof, that promotes expression of a transgene specifically in retinal ganglion cells (RGCs), said promoter in operable linkage with an expression cassette encoding the transgene, wherein the expressed transgene inhibits activity of an expression product of an endogenous pro-neurodegenerative gene involved in an ER stress and/or UPR pathway that leads to axon or soma degeneration in the RGCs. Aspects of the methods include intravitreally administering the composition to treat the subject for the ON neuropathy. A variety of ON neuropathies may be treated by practicing the methods, including retinal ganglion cell degeneration, glaucoma, optic neuritis, ON traumatic injury and other ON-related diseases.

    Abstract: Injection of silicon oil (SO) to the anterior chamber of an eye efficiently induces intraocular pressure (IOP) elevation. This effect occurs without causing overt ocular structural damage or inflammatory responses while simulating acute glaucomatous changes that human patients develop over years by inducing progressive RGC and ON degeneration and visual functional deficits within weeks. The anterior segments of the experimental eyes are not substantially affected, leaving clear ocular elements that allow easy and reliable assessment of in vivo visual function and morphology. More importantly, this is the only reversible ocular hypertension model by removing SO from the anterior chamber and particularly useful for testing neuro-protection treatment together with lowering IOP treatment. In summary, the acute ocular hypertension glaucoma model replicates secondary post-operative glaucoma.
