  • Publication number: 20110285190
Abstract: A movable chair backrest is substantially composed of an upper board pivotally attached to a front of a backrest frame. A lower end of the upper board is connected to a lower board by a resilient sheet. A bouncing board connects between the lower board and the backrest frame. Therefore, the lower board operationally swings forward, backward, rightward, leftward relative to the upper board to correspond to different sitting and leaning gestures of a user.

  • Publication number: 20110239810
Abstract: A guiding-wire controlling rod device for chair adjustment is mainly pivotally attached inside a housing by a rotation plate of a pivoting rod. The rotation plate has two sides each with a guiding-wire retaining notch and has multiple abutting flat surfaces formed at a front end of the rotation plate to abut with a resilient sheet to position the rotation plate at different angles. Moreover, a rear end of a controlling rod of the pivoting rod has a pivotal hole substantially perpendicularly adjacent to the rotation plate to pivotally engage with another controlling rod to drive other guiding-wires. Thereby, the controlling rods are aligned and control respectively multiple guiding-wires for different functions.

  • Patent number: 7775601
Abstract: A rack structure for a chair includes a chair back member having a frame and a mounting support. The frame includes a support cushion disposed on the front side thereof for supporting a user's waist correspondingly. The frame further includes two first connecting tabs fixed on the back sides of the top ends of two sides thereof individually and two second connecting tabs formed on and extending from the two sides thereof respectively. The mounting support is fixed onto a base and extends upwardly therefrom. The mounting support includes two coupling segments and two connecting projections arranged on the top ends and the intermediate sections of two sides thereof respectively. Between each coupling segment and each connecting projection is couplingly attached a resilient member. The first and second connecting tabs of the frame are connected with the coupling segments and the connecting projections of the mounting support individually.

  • Patent number: 7731286
Abstract: A backrest assembly has a backrest board pivotally attached in front of a backrest frame and a buffering resilient device connected between the backrest board and the backrest frame. The buffering resilient device has two resilient brackets with through holes penetrated by a transversal adjusting rod and has a rotating tube sleeving the transversal adjusting rod to be operationally stopped by a stop bar protruded from the backrest frame. Therefore, the backrest board has a resilient and buffering efficiency relative to the backrest frame by setting the buffering resilient devices. By rotating the transversal adjusting rod to different positions, the brackets of the buffering resilient device is extended in length, and resilience of the backrest assembly is changed.

  • Patent number: 7530637
Abstract: A chair assembly has a chassis connected between a backrest frame and a pneumatic foot rod. The backrest frame has a pivotal hole and has an elongated slot to receive a sliding pivotal rod pushed by a spring so that the backrest frame is controlled by the sliding pivotal rod when the backrest frame pivotally moves relative to the chassis. Because the incline of backrest frame is controlled by an adjusting wheel pushing the spring and because the seat frame has a rocking board to support the backrest frame, the chair assembly is able to change the inclined angles of the backrest frame. Moreover, the seat frame has a sliding base for attaching a pad. Thereby, the chair assembly has adjustable functions.

  • Publication number: 20080200163
Abstract: A positioning module positions the location of the mobile communication apparatus. A determination module stores a map and determines whether the location of the mobile communication apparatus is within one of the effective communication ranges of the available base stations based on the map. A processing module ceases searching for the signals of available base stations if the location of the mobile communication apparatus is determined not to be within one of the effective communication ranges. A mobile communication apparatus can cease searching for the signals of available base stations if the mobile communication apparatus is not within one of the effective communication ranges of any available base stations or the search takes too much time. Therefore, power is saved.
