The first and the second support structures and the side edge together define of an opening exposing a space surrounding the semiconductor chip.     Abstract: Techniques for obtaining a synthetic histochemically stained image from a multiplexed immunofluorescence (MPX) image may include producing an N-channel input image that is based on information from each of M channels of an MPX image of a tissue section, where M and N are positive integers and N is less than or equal to M; and generating a synthetic image by processing the N-channel input image using a generator network, the generator network having been trained using a training data set that includes a plurality of pairs of images. The synthetic image depicts a tissue section stained with at least one histochemical stain. Each pair of images of the plurality of pairs of images includes an N-channel image, produced from an MPX image of a first section of a tissue, and an image of a second section of the tissue stained with the at least one histochemical stain.

    Abstract: An integrated portable extremely fast charger (XFC) may be installed for heavy-duty off-road vehicles, such as tractors and combine harvesters. The XFC shortens the charging period of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) and battery electric vehicles (BEVs) by providing >500 kW in a single charger. The proposed XFC integrates a solar farm and local energy storage system (ESS) such that the local grid only needs to provide the power gap between the vehicle battery and the local ESS during charging events, yielding a low-cost XFC installation and higher renewable energy penetration. Two design approaches for the XFC, conductive and wireless, are based on multiphase interleaved dc-dc converter circuit, permitting flexible access to electricity. Smart fault protection mechanism is also proposed to achieve high safety during charging events. The hexagonal prism charger may be integrated into the power electronic devices with a transformer, yielding a high compactness and power density.

The method may further include determining a slowness range, estimating a downward guided wave noise by stacking the one or more acoustic signals based at least in part on a positive slowness, estimating an upward guided wave noise by stacking the one or more acoustic signals based at least in part on a negative slowness, and identifying a dominant direction of propagation. The method may further include identifying a slowness from a highest stacked amplitude for the dominant direction of propagation, estimating a downward guided wave noise with the slowness, estimating an upward guided wave noise with the slowness, and subtracting the downward guided wave noise and the upward guided wave noise.

The electronic display may include multiple power supply tiles that are separated with non-conductive gaps to reduce circulation of eddy currents induced by the transmission signals. Moreover, voltage supply routing paths within the power supply tiles may be grouped to provide non-conductive gaps within the power supply tiles. Accordingly, the antenna may provide the transmission signals through the electronic display with improved efficiency based on reducing surface currents (e.g., eddy currents) on the electronic display.
