  • Publication number: 20070200653
Abstract: A needle 2 includes a plunger member 21 and a collar member 22, and is provided to be reciprocable from a latch position to a latch release position inside a stator 1. A first magnet coil 31 has sufficient electromagnetic power to put in a latch state the needle 2 which is in a latch release state on energization. A permanent magnet 4 has sufficient absorption power for absorbing a collar member 22 of the needle 2 put in the latch state by the electromagnetic power of the first magnet coil 31 and maintaining the latch state even when the first magnet coil 31 is in a non-energized state. A second magnet coil 32 can diminish magnetic fluxes of the permanent magnet 4 and change the needle 2 from the latch state to the latch release state on energization. Thus, energy efficiency is improved by varying how to energize the magnet coils according to the state of a load side.

  • Publication number: 20070045082
Abstract: Handrail drive belts (20A, 20B, 20C, 120A, 120B) are respectively driven in circulatory fashion within a railing (5) by drive force respectively extracted from step sprocket gears (2a, 2b) and a step chain. The handrail drive belts (20A, 20B, 20C, 120A, 120B) transmit drive force to a handrail belt (10, 110) by contacting the inner peripheral surface of the handrail belt (10, 110) at respectively different locations. In this way, the load on the handrail belt in a passenger conveyor of long travel is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20060188299
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes first and second toner image forming sections and a transfer unit. The first and second toner image forming sections include first and second image carriers and first and second intermediate transfer members, respectively. The color toner images are formed on the image carrier and then transferred onto the intermediate transfer member to form a composite color toner image on the intermediate transfer member. In a first mode, the first and second toner image forming sections form both the composite dark and light color toner images on the recording material. In a second mode, the second intermediate transfer member is moved out of contact with the transfer unit and the second image carrier and the second intermediate transfer member are not operated, so that only the first toner image forming section forms the composite dark color toner image on the recording material.

  • Publication number: 20050030815
Abstract: A bare chip is provided with a pad for activation/deactivation control to which a deactivation control signal for converting a bare chip that has been detected as being defective into the deactivated condition is inputted. When a deactivation control signal is inputted to the pad for activation/deactivation control, internal circuit prevent a signal that has been inputted from the pad for data input/output control from being inputted to an internal circuit located further inside than the input buffer circuit. Thereby, the bare chip that has been detected as being defective can be converted to the deactivated condition. As a result, a semiconductor memory module can be obtained that can be repaired by newly mounting a good function chip without allowing the bare chip that has been detected as being defective to interfere with the functions of the semiconductor memory module.

  • Patent number: 6809577
Abstract: In an oscillation detection circuit an internal voltage is compared with an oscillation detection level corresponding to a reference voltage plus a predetermined variation and when a voltage having a level higher than the oscillation detection level is observed a predetermined number of times within a predetermined period of time a decision is made that the internal voltage is in oscillation and an oscillation detection signal having the high level is output. In the internal power supply voltage down conversion circuit when a p-channel MOS transistor receives the oscillation detection signal of the high level the transistor turns off to interrupt a current supplied from a drive transistor to an internal power supply node.
