  • Publication number: 20020080415
Abstract: In the case of forwarding data received via a circuit by electronic mail, it is possible to forward it to a plurality of forwarding destinations. In that case, it is possible to register a format on forwarding for each forwarding destination. For instance, when attaching received images to the electronic mail, whether to attach all the images or just one page, and an image format for the sake of attachment can be registered. In addition, it is possible, in the case where the data is received based on the ITU-T T. 37 recommendation, to register whether to delete an attachment file received and transmit only the text, transmit only the attachment file or transmit both the text and the attachment file. Moreover, a forwarding method in the case where the forwarding destination is a mobile terminal can also be registered.

  • Publication number: 20020057546
Abstract: The power supply tuning circuit in accordance with the present invention is provided with a plurality of power supply circuits. Each power supply circuit includes a latch circuit. The latch circuit records a tuning signal. The recorded tuning signal causes the corresponding transistor to switch on/off. In this manner, pseudo-tuning is performed. After a tuning signal is supplied to the latch circuit, the tuning signal is supplied to another power-supply circuit. Thus, pseudo-tuning can be preformed simultaneously for a plurality of power supply circuits.

  • Publication number: 20010051051
Abstract: A method for determining whether or not a developer container to contain developer is attached to the main body of an apparatus comprises the steps of detecting information of the magnetic permeability of developer in the developer container; and determining whether or not the developer container is attached to the main body of the image forming apparatus in accordance with an output (or outputs) obtained in the step of detection. With the adoption of this method comprising these steps, there is no need for providing separately any sensor or the like which is dedicated to determining whether or not the developer container is attached to the main body of the image forming apparatus, hence making it possible to implement reducing the costs of an image forming apparatus, and making the image forming apparatus smaller.

  • Patent number: 6157588
Abstract: First and second global input/output lines are twisted between first and second main blocks. First and second SD signal lines in the first main block are respectively arranged adjacent to first and second global input/output lines. First and second SD signal lines in the second main block are respectively arranged adjacent to the second and first global input/output lines. An SD signal supplied for the first or second SD signal line makes noises applied to the first and second global input/output lines identical, so that an influence by the noises is substantially eliminated between the first and second global input/output lines. As a result, the global input/output line is provided with higher resistance to noise without any increase in a layout area.

  • Patent number: 6148156
Abstract: A developer detection apparatus includes a detection member for detecting the developer contained in the developer container detachably mountable on a main body of an image forming apparatus. A biasing member biases the detection member to the developer container side. An interlocking mechanism interlocks with open and close operations of the opening and closing cover for attaching the developer container to or detaching the developer container from the main body of the apparatus. In this developer detection apparatus, when the opening and closing cover is in the open state, the detection member is positioned by the interlocking mechanism in a location so not as to be in contact with the developer container against the biasing force of the biasing member, and when the opening and closing cover is in the closed state, the detection member is positioned so as to be in contact with the developer container by the biasing force of the biasing member.
