  • Publication number: 20060066959
Abstract: In a zoom lens unit, substrate are arranged to be faced to each other and are provided with first driving electrodes used to drive a first movable section and second driving electrodes used to drive a second movable section, respectively. A recessed portion is formed in the first movable section so as to face the second driving electrodes. A recessed portion is also formed in the second movable section so as to face the first driving electrodes. The first and second movable sections can be independently controlled to achieve a zoom operation.

  • Publication number: 20040130639
Abstract: A camera unit includes a soft substrate on which electrode regions and an image pickup device region are disposed, a driving electrode group disposed on one of the electrode regions, an image pickup device disposed on the image pickup device region, stationary unit frame attaching portions disposed at positions surrounding the image pickup device region, a stationary unit frame attached to the stationary unit frame attaching portions, and movable units disposed in the stationary unit frame. The soft substrate is bent along bending positions between the electrode regions and the image pickup device region, the electrode regions are fixed on sides of the stationary unit frame inwardly thereof, and the image pickup device region is fixed on an end surface of the stationary unit frame toward the movable units.

  • Patent number: 6344809
Abstract: In order to reduce the consumption of power of an isolator interface and an ADC, it is proposed to operate a calling signal reception or Caller ID signal reception function only with power supplied from the system switch while maintaining the on-hook condition of a telephone. At the time of normal operation, the output of the analogue digital converter is input to an isolator through the isolator interface, and at the time of the calling signal reception or the caller identification information reception, the output of the analogue digital converter is input directly to the isolator.

  • Patent number: 5331144
Abstract: A card reader-writer includes a body provided with a card inserting opening into which a card to which reading and writing of information can be made is inserted, magnetic heads arranged in the body to read and write information from and on the card, and a device for carrying the card which is inserted into the card inserting opening to the magnetic heads. The carrying device includes a card chucking unit for chucking the card and a carriage for moving the chucking unit along a certain passage. The position of the card chucked by the chucking unit is corrected by a card position adjusting or correcting unit.

  • Patent number: 4864447
Abstract: A linear actuator comprises a pair of central poles symmetrically arranged parallel to the direction of motion of a carriage for transducers. Four permanent magnets are disposed around each central pole leaving predetermined gaps. Four ambient poles and one terminal pole surround the permanent magnets and each central pole. Two driving coils are slidably movable in the predetermined gaps therebetween. Upper and lower flat plate members support the driving coils so they may be fixed to the carriage. The central poles each have a rectangular cross-section, the permanent magnets surrounding the exterior four walls of the central poles leaving the predetermined gaps in which the driving coils are disposed. The ambient poles and terminal poles surround the central poles and form closed magnetic circuits. The flat plate members of the carriage are composed of ceramic material. The driving coils, arranged inside the predetermined gaps, are mounted at the ends of the flat plate members.
