    Abstract: Disclosed probes comprise metal nanoparticle cores associated with magnetic particles that allow probes associated with targets to be concentrated by an applied magnetic field to increase detection sensitivity and provide sufficient spacing between concentrated probes to avoid signal quenching. The probe may comprise at least one recognition receptor, and may further comprise at least one reporter molecule, such as a fluorescent tag, a Raman reporter, or combinations thereof. Concentrating probe-target composites substantially enhances a sensing signal, such as from 5 to 10 times, compared to detection without concentrating the probes. The method may be used to detect, for example, interleukins at concentrations at least as low as 25 pg/ml in sputum or blood from a subject for early and precise profiling of viral infections, such as SARS-CoV-2 infections.

    Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide a method for a unified code and natural language search system that integrates both natural language and programming language queries and documents. The method includes receiving a training dataset comprising natural language and programming language queries and documents, and training a neural network-based embedding model in two stages: first, by adapting the model with natural language query-document pairs, and then further adapting it with combined programming and natural language query-document pairs. The updated parameters from each stage are integrated into the model to enhance retrieval capabilities. In response to a search query, the trained embedding model retrieves relevant documents from a collection based on the similarity between the query and document embeddings.

The retrieve information may be ranked so that the most relevant information is used by the language model in generating an answer to the question in the user input. A non-retrieval based answer generated by the language model may be utilized in some embodiments in generating the final answer.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to recombinant adeno-associated viruses (rAAVs) having capsid proteins engineered to include amino acid sequences that confer and/or enhance desired properties. In particular, the invention provides engineered capsid proteins comprising peptide insertions from heterologous proteins inserted within or near variable region IV (VR-IV) of the virus capsid, such that the insertion is surface exposed on the AAV particle. The invention also provides capsid proteins that direct rAAVs to target tissues, in particular, capsid proteins comprising peptides that are inserted into surface-exposed variable regions using a method for replacing a stop codon in the capsid gene with such peptide insert. The invention provides such methods for making the rAAV vectors into vector libraries and selecting the rAAV vectors having peptide inserts that target the rAAV to particular tissues of interest, and thus deliver therapeutics for treating disorders.
