  • Patent number: 11029735
Abstract: Cable assemblies for providing electrical communication between hinged sections of an electronic device are described. The cable assemblies can include a cover that covers one or more cables that run through a hinge region of the electronic device. The cable and cover can be drawn over a mandrel of the hinge region. The cover and the portions of the mandrel can be visible to a user at the hinge region of the electronic device. The cover can be sufficiently rigid to guide a path of the cable and protect the cable from bending beyond a prescribed angle during rotation of the electronic device at the hinge region. The cover can also be sufficiently rigid to prevent ceasing or folding of the cover and the cable during rotation of the electronic device at the hinge region.

  • Patent number: 9506241
Abstract: A building with rotating housings has a main structure and multiple housing units. The main structure has a structure body, a housing track extending spirally upward outside of the structure body, and a temporary track moveably mounted in the structure body. When changing positions of the housing units, braking devices of all the housing units are released temporarily to make the housing units slide down by gravity along the housing track for a distance of one housing unit, and the housing unit at the lowest position slides to the temporary track. Then the temporary track and said housing unit are moved upward. Finally the braking device of said housing unit is released temporarily to make said housing unit slide down to the housing track to be the highest housing unit. The housing units can change their positions, heights, and angles at regular or predetermined timeline.

  • Patent number: 7264365
Abstract: A lamp positioning structure is disclosed. The lamp positioning structure is assembled on a display device and includes a fastening element mounted on a side plate of a rear plate. The lamp is curve-line-shaped and is mounted over the rear plate. Moreover, the lamp includes at least a curved section. Also, a display panel having a display area is assembled over the rear plate to cover the lamp. The curved section of the lamp is arranged in the display area without damaging the brightness uniformity nearby. In addition, two elastic arms are disposed on both lateral sides of the fastening element to abut against the curved section. Through the arrangement of the positioning structure, the breakage and the displacement of the lamp can be reduced or even prevented. The brightness of the curved section corresponding to the fastening element becomes more uniform and without definite dark spots.
