    Abstract: An electronic device and a method for switching mode of a Thunderbolt connector thereof are provided. The electronic device includes a core unit, a PCIe device, a Thunderbolt control unit, a first switch circuit and a second switch circuit. The Thunderbolt control unit has a host mode and an end-point device mode. A common terminal of the first switch circuit is coupled to a PCIe port of the PCIe device. A first selection terminal of the first switch circuit is coupled to a first PCIe port of the core unit. A common terminal of the second switch circuit is coupled to a PCIe port of the Thunderbolt control unit. A first selection terminal of the second switch circuit is coupled to a second PCIe port of the core unit. The second body includes a second main body, a supporting unit, a second magnetic element, and a third magnetic element. The second main body is adapted to hold the first body. The supporting unit is pivoted to the second main body. The second magnetic element is fixed in the second main body. The third magnetic element is slidably configured in the second main body to restrict a rotation of the supporting unit relative to the second main body. When the first body leans against the second main body, the third magnetic element is subject to a magnetic attraction force from the first magnetic element and escapes from the supporting unit, so that the supporting unit supports the first body.

    Abstract: A linear motor includes a case, a magnet assembly and a coil assembly. The case is disposed along a first direction. The magnet assembly includes at least two first magnets, among which the first magnets are disposed corresponding to and between two first magnetic yokes, respectively. The coil assembly includes a winding coil having an exposed portion, among which the exposed portion is extended along a second direction and disposed between the two first magnetic yokes, and the exposed portion is at least partially overlapped with the two first magnets in a third direction. As a result, the coil assembly and the case are driven to reciprocate along the first direction by the winding coil due to the magnetic force, thereby solving the magnetic disturbing issue, enhancing the driving force of the linear motor, and optimizing the mechanical rigidity.

    Abstract: An antenna system that generates radiation similar to that generated by a relativistic charged particle is provided. The antenna system includes a conducting wire carrying a current pulse with a net charge, called a quasi charged particle, which propagates near the speed of light and emits radiation. Preferably, the quasi charged particle is generated by using a pulsed laser to knock out electrons from the conducting wire. While propagating on the conducting wire near the speed of light, the quasi charged particle generates a synchrotron like radiation from a bent of the wire, an undulator like radiation from a sinusoidal or helical structure of the wire, a diffraction like radiation from an aperture transmitting the wire, a Smith-Purcell like radiation from a corrugated grating surface next to the wire, and a greatly wavelength-contracted undulator like radiation from an undulator with the wire aligned along the undulator axis.

The touch panel includes first sensing lines and second sensing lines. The position of a touch between a last one of the first sensing lines and a first one of the second sensing lines is calculated according to sensed values respectively corresponding to a first sensing line prior to the last one of the first sensing lines, the last one of the first sensing lines and the first one of the second sensing lines.     Abstract: A water-proof button assembly includes a seat, a sealing member, a button and a contact member. The seat has an opening and an inward protrusion extends inward from the inside of the opening. The sealing member is installed in the opening and has a through hole which is defined by an outer portion. The outer portion contacts the inward protrusion of the seat. The diameter of the outer portion is larger than the diameter of the button. The contact member is located corresponding to the button and contacts the inward protrusion. When the button is pressed, the force pushes the sealing member to contact against the inside of the opening of the seat to enhance the sealing effect between the sealing member and the opening. The sealing member provides a bouncing force for returning the button to the initial position.
