    Abstract: A multi-output buck converting apparatus with a controllable energy-releasing function includes a main buck converter and at least one auxiliary buck converter to provide multi-output voltages. The multi-output buck converting apparatus further includes an energy releasing unit and an abnormal voltage signal generating unit. The abnormal voltage signal generating unit generates a control signal to control a switch device of the energy releasing unit when the multi-output buck converting apparatus shuts down. Therefore, the energy, which is stored in the auxiliary buck converter, can be released through the energy releasing unit so as to avoid returning the energy to the main buck converter and rebounding a main output voltage.

    Abstract: A data protection method for a flash memory device. In one embodiment, the flash memory device comprises a flash memory for storing protected data. After the flash memory device is coupled to a host, a plurality of current read addresses of a plurality of read commands sent from the host to the flash memory device are recorded. The current read addresses are then compared with a plurality of predetermined read addresses. When the current read addresses are not identical to the predetermined read addresses, the flash memory device is made to enter a data protection mode. When the flash memory device is in the data protection mode, if the flash memory device receives a plurality of data access commands, the data access commands are processed according to a protection mode setting parameter to prevent the protected data from being accessed by the host.

The second pipe defines a second chamber. Initially, water flows to the overflow pipe to create a water closing through a water flow passage between the second pipe and the float pipe, especially a conical passage defined between a conical surface of the second pipe and a conical portion of the float device. Meanwhile, the float device moves upward along with the rise of the water level of the second chamber to close the conical passage. By the time the conical passage is closed, the water closing is formed, and the refilled surplus water will overflow into the water tank, thus creating a quantitative water refilling effect.

    Abstract: A power supply is used in a computer. The power supply includes a main power circuit, an auxiliary power circuit and a switching circuit. The main power circuit has a first main output terminal for outputting a first operating DC voltage. The auxiliary power circuit has an auxiliary output terminal connected to a standby circuit of the computer for outputting a standby DC voltage. The switching circuit is interconnected between the first main output terminal and the auxiliary output terminal. When the computer is in a power-off state, the switching circuit is shut off, and the standby circuit is powered by the standby DC voltage.
