Abstract: The present invention discloses for the ability for processing circuit switched (CS) services in an evolved packet network. For example, embodiments provide a method that includes: by a mobility management entity (MME), receiving a mobile terminated (MT) service indication from a mobile switching center (MSC); sending the MT service indication to user equipment (UE); and receiving an MT service response returned by the UE and performing subsequent operations according to the MT service response. In the method of the present invention, when an MT service arrives, the MME does not trigger the evolved NodeB (eNodeB) to hand over the packet switched (PS) services of the UE but notifies the UE of the MT service and performs subsequent operations according to the MT service response returned by the UE, thus avoiding the waste of network resources caused by a meaningless handover of PS services.

Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a system for paging processing and information displaying are disclosed. The paging processing method includes: receiving a paging request message from a Mobile Switching Center (MSC) which a called User Equipment (UE) registers to; and when the called UE is connected, sending a paging notification message to the called UE, and returning a called-UE paging status message to the MSC. In the embodiments of the present invention, after the Mobility Management Entity (MME) receives the paging request message from the MSC, if the called UE is connected, the MME not only sends a Circuit-Switched (CS) paging notification message to the called UE, but also returns a paging status message to the MSC, indicating that the called UE has received the paging notification message.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to the communications field and disclose a method, an apparatus, and a system for processing a data domain service, which mitigate a resource shortage problem of an EPS network or a 2G network that uses a GERAN network as an access network. A specific solution is: receiving, by a source access network element, a user-plane data packet sent by a source mobility management network element, where the user-plane data packet includes a handover instruction or service type information; and sending a handover request to the source mobility management network element according to the handover instruction or the service type information, so as to hand over a data domain service of the user terminal to a target network. The present invention is used to process data domain services.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a data transmission method, device, and system. A terminal device determines whether a data volume of uplink data to be sent is less than a preset data volume threshold. If the data volume of the uplink data to be sent is less than the preset data volume threshold, the terminal device establishes an RRC connection to a base station and sends an RRC connection completion message that carries the uplink data to the base station, so that the base station sends the uplink data to an MME by using a signaling message between the base station and the MME. The MME further sends the uplink data to a corresponding application server by using a signaling message between the MME and a P-CSCF.

Abstract: The present invention provides a congestion processing method, apparatus, and system. The method comprises: in a process of a UE performing handover from a source cell, in a congestion status, of a source access network element to a target cell, in a normal status, of a target access network element, receiving second indication information sent by a second access network element, wherein the second indication information is used for indicating a status of a second cell; sending notification information to a network side according to the indication message, wherein the notification information is used for notifying the network side to restore a status of the UE from a congestion and controlled status to a normal status. In the present invention, determining how to notify the network side and notifying the network side timely to restore the status of the UE to the normal status are realized.

Abstract: A congestion state reporting method and an access network device are provided by the present invention. The method comprises: obtaining, by an access network device, an identifier of a gateway device corresponding to bearers, and reporting to the gateway device congestion state information of a cell covered by the access network device via part of bearers from the bearers corresponding to the identifier. The method mentioned above can avoid the problem in the prior art that the congestion state is further aggravated, so that the gateway device can process the problem of cell congestion more rapidly, and can reduce the processing complexity of the gateway device in the prior art.

Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a system for implementing User Equipment (UE) handover are disclosed. A Mobility Management Entity (MME) obtains address information of a serving Interworking Function (IWF) by interacting with a function entity in a network and notifies the IWF to process handover according to the obtained IWF address information, so that the MME is capable of obtaining the address information of the serving IWF. Therefore, the normal proceeding of a UE handover procedure in a Circuit Switched over Packet Switched (CSoEPS) scenario is ensured.

Abstract: A method for acquiring information includes: receiving an Internet Protocol (IP) address acquisition request or Packet Data Network (PDN) address allocation information sent by User Equipment (UE); determining a PDN address capability according to the IP address acquisition request or the PDN address allocation information; and sending the determined PDN address capability to the UE. An UE and network equipment are also provided. The PDN address capability is determined by the network and is sent to the UE, so as to indicate to the UE the IP address information that may be acquired in a current PDN connection, such that when the network cannot provide an IP address for the UE any more, the UE is prevented from acquiring other IP addresses in other manners, avoiding service abnormality.

Abstract: A method and device for detaching a user equipment (UE) are disclosed in the present invention. The UE is registered with a mobility management entity (MME) in a packet switched (PS) network and a mobile switching center (MSC) in a circuit switched (CS) network. When the UE needs to detach from the PS network, the MSC receives a Detach Request with a Detach Type indicating the detaching from the PS network only; after receiving the Detach Request, the MSC deletes the context of the PS core network entity and clears the connection between the MSC and the MME. An MME for performing UE detachment is also disclosed in the present invention. The present invention helps reduce the time delay during the subsequent handover and quickly provide users with communications services, so as to improve user's experience and meet the carriers' requirements.

Abstract: The present invention provides an access method, a mobility management device, and a user equipment. According to the present invention, a mobility management device receives a first access request message sent by a UE, where the first access request message includes first indication information, and the first indication information is used for indicating that the UE performs equipment access processing, so that the mobility management device can perform equipment access for the UE according to the first indication information. This avoids a problem in the prior art that a UE needs to establish a subscription relationship with an operator in order to access the Internet through a mobile communications network, thereby improving access flexibility of the UE.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a fault detection method, including discovering that a fault occurs in a DNS server or a service server related to a UE; performing, by a gateway, fault detection on the DNS server or the service server; and, after the fault is rectified, instructing the UE to establish a connection to the DNS server or the service server.
