    Abstract: Methods of preventing photoresist scum formation for etch processes for patterning material layers of semiconductor device material layers are disclosed. A treatment of N2 and O2 is used to prevent the formation of photoresist scum. The treatment may be performed in-situ, and may be performed during the etch process, after the etch process, or both. The treatment is particularly beneficial when implemented during the patterning of low dielectric constant material layers, and when used for the formation of isolated via patterns.

    Abstract: Methods for separating casein from soluble proteins in a composition. The method includes: adding a phosphate solution to the composition, mixing to form a mixture, freezing the mixture to obtain a frozen mixture, thawing the frozen mixture to obtain casein-containing aggregates in the mixture, and then centrifuging the mixture to obtain a supernatant traction and a casein-precipitate fraction. The supernatant fraction contains the soluble protein, which may be isolated by subjecting the supernatant fraction to a purification process. The method can be applied to purify a recombinant protein from the milk of a transgenic mammal.

The FRAM is divided into a plurality of fixed-size blocks, and is for storing data. The SDRAM is for storing data that need to be written to the FRAM, and includes three data structures: queue one, queue two, and hash table. The CPU is for reading data from external storages, storing the data in the SDRAM, reading data from the SDRAM, and writing the data to the FRAM via the three data structures. The clock is for recording a predetermined time used to determine the blocks in the FRAM in which data have not been read up to the predetermined time. A related data structure design method is also provided.
