  • Publication number: 20080123544
Abstract: Methods and systems for estimating Temporal Correlation (TC) of a propagation channel are provided. In an embodiment, a method for estimating the TC of the propagation channel comprises obtaining multiple channel quality reports of the propagation channel and estimating the TC of the propagation channel based on the multiple channel quality reports.

  • Publication number: 20070248155
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to a wireless receiver system that utilizes a special structure of pilot symbols used for synchronization and channel estimation in transmission packets to measure noise power at the receiver. The periodicity of the pilot signal sequences is used to extract the noise power from the received signal. Such extraction is achieved by subtracting the received signals from two pilot slots which are separated by the known periodicity of the training sequence. This method relies on the fact that desired signal and system interference signals will cancel out after the subtraction process. Measuring the power of the residual signal after subtraction represents the estimate of the noise power. Several consecutive such residual signals can be first summed up before measuring the power to improve the estimate of the noise power at the receiver.

  • Publication number: 20030027298
Abstract: An enzymatic array is provided, which composition comprises one or more enzymes non-covalently bound to a peptide backbone, wherein at least one of the enzymes is heterologous to the peptide backbone and the peptide backbone is capable of having bound thereto a plurality of enzymes. The array is useful, for example, in recovery systems, targeted multi-enzyme delivery systems, soluble substrate modification, quantification type assays, and other applications in the food industry, feed, textiles, bioconversion, pulp and paper production, plant protection and pest control, wood preservatives, topical lotions and biomass conversions.
