The position control module applies a driving current for positioning a rotor of a motor at one of first and second positions. The power control module applies a first voltage to one of first and second phases of the motor to generate a first current after the position control module applies the driving current to position the rotor at the first position. The power control module applies a second voltage to one of the first and second phases to generate a second current after the position control module applies the driving current to position the rotor at the second position. The diagnostic module determines when the rotor is restricted from rotating based on the first and second currents.

The method comprising the steps of: receiving Doppler signals during Doppler signal acquisition to obtain data of in-phase (I) component and quadrate (Q) component signals of the Doppler signals; receiving interruption of the Doppler signals; estimating the data of the Doppler signals interrupted in said gap period filling the interrupted Doppler signals with the data of the estimated Doppler signals so that the data of the I and Q component signals in said gap period are filled to form a continuous output; and generating Doppler spectrum data or Doppler sound based on the data of the filled I and Q component signals.

Abstract: A system and method for determining inflection points in an image of an object includes obtaining the image of the object, performing binary image processing on a border of the image to obtain border points, selecting a predetermined number of the border points to fit a straight line, calculating a vertical distance between each selected border point and the straight line, and obtaining a total distance. The method further includes adding a new border point to the selected border points if the total distance is less than a predetermined value, so as to fit a new straight line and do a loop cycle, otherwise, regarding a last border point of the selected border points as an inflection point, and sequentially selecting the predetermined number of other border points to fit another new straight line.

Abstract: A spatio-temporal random voting scheme is provided that incorporates location distribution, spatial randomness, and temporal randomness in the collection of information from a plurality of sensing devices within the cognitive network. The region is divided into a plurality of sectors, where each sector is a portion of the region. A subset of sectors is selected from the plurality of sectors in the region to provide spatial randomness. A device is randomly selected from each sector in the subset of sectors to provide additional spatial randomness to the information collection process. Temporal randomness may be introduced by randomly selecting a timeslot within a sensing window period in which devices are to scan a frequency spectrum band to determine if a signal energy above a threshold is detected. Sensing reports are then collected from the selected sensing devices and used to determine whether the frequency spectrum band is available or in use.

Abstract: A system and a method for implementing LBS accounting are disclosed. The system includes a LS and an accounting server in a CSN. The LS includes an LS CF, which is adapted to collect LBS-related accounting information with respect to the user who sends the location request and/or the user to be located at different time points, create UDRs of the LS according to the accounting information, and send the UDRs of the LS to the accounting server. The accounting server performs accounting for the LBS according to the received UDRs.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a resistance variable memory device, and more particularly, to a resistance variable memory device capable of preventing an effect of coupling noise. The resistance variable memory device includes: a memory cell connected to a bit line; a precharge circuit precharging the bit line in response to a precharge signal; a bias circuit providing a bias voltage to the bit line in response to,a bias signal; and a control logic controlling the precharge signal and the bias signal. The control logic provides the bias signal to the bias circuit at a precharge interval. Accordingly, the resistance variable memory device according to the present invention can prevent an effect coupling noise.
