  • Patent number: 7280195
Abstract: A method and apparatus for measuring resource information of a mobile communication base station antenna. The apparatus three-dimensionally measures resource information of a mobile communication base station antenna using a distance/angle measurement device, such that it can automatically measure resource information associated with azimuth angle, distance, and inclination of the antenna. The method includes the steps of: a) measuring distance and angle of a mobile communication base station antenna when an azimuth angle to magnetic north is determined, and calculating three-dimensional coordinates; b) calculating azimuth angle and inclination of the antenna based upon the three-dimensional coordinates; and c) calculating an error value of a position of the antenna based upon the calculated azimuth angle and inclination of the antenna.

  • Patent number: 7279815
Abstract: A swing motor having an opening formed asymmetrically inside a stator. The swing motor is formed with an asymmetrical opening, in particular in a semicircular shape inside the stator. The opening is provided with a plurality of salient poles wound with coils. Electric current alternately flows through the coils so that a rotor, installed in the stator in a state of being spaced apart from the stator, can reciprocally move. Since the height of the stator is reduced by forming the opening asymmetrically in comparison with the case of forming the opening symmetrically, it is advantageous for minimizing the size of the product in which the swing motor is installed.

  • Patent number: 7279853
Abstract: A dimmer fixture has a ballast board 10, a main board 40 and switch 70. The ballast board and main board have no inductors so the fixture may be used for fluorescent and incandescent lamps. The ballast board 10 has two bridge circuits 14, 16 and two dc voltage regulators. A delay circuit 24 prevents the VCO 26 for operating for long enough to allow fluorescent lamps to warm up. The main board has four power MOSFETS or IGBTs. One of devices Q1 and Q2 is always on. One of devices Q3, Q4 completes the drive to the lamps. Control signals on ballast board 10 operate the power devices Q1-Q4.

  • Patent number: 7280233
Abstract: For an automatic defect inspection of an edge exposure area of a wafer, an optical unit supplies a light beam onto the edge portion of a wafer and a detection unit detects light reflected from the edge portion. The detection unit converts the detected light into an electrical signal to transmit the electrical signal to a processing unit. The processing unit analyzes the electrical signal to measure the reflectivity of the edge portion, compares the measured reflectivity with a reference reflectivity, and calculates the width of the edge exposure area. The processing unit compares the calculated width with a reference width to detect any defect in the edge exposure area.

  • Patent number: 7279592
Abstract: A process for the production of dialkyl carbonates from the reaction of alcohol, for example C1-C3 alcohols, with urea is disclosed wherein the water and ammonium carbamates impurities in the feed are removed in a prereactor. The water is reacted with urea in the feed to produce ammonium carbamate which is decomposed along with the ammonium carbamates originally in the feed to ammonia and carbon dioxide. In addition some of the urea is reacted with the alcohol in the first reactor to produce alkyl carbamate which is a precursor to dialkyl carbonate. Dialkyl carbonates are produced in the second reaction zone. The undesired by-product N-alkyl alkyl carbamates are continuously distilled off from the second reaction zone along with ammonia, alcohol and dialkyl carbonates under the steady state reactor operation. N-alkyl alkyl carbamates can be converted to heterocyclic compounds in a third reaction zone to remove as solids from the system.

  • Patent number: 7280423
Abstract: A current-mode sensing structure of a high-density multiple-port register in embedded flash memory procedure and a method for the same are proposed. A multiple-port register file cell is used to send out a select signal of “0” or “1”. Based on this select signal, a turn-on voltage and a cell current are output. Next, a dummy bit line of an embedded dummy flash cell is used to define a reference voltage according to the turn-on voltage and generate a corresponding reference current. Finally, the cell current and the reference current are sent to a current comparator amplifier, which senses and outputs a difference value between the cell current and the reference current to perform session at once (SAO) recording. Because the difference value has only two possibilities: the reference current or its negative, the sensing time of the current comparator amplifier can be shortened.
