    Abstract: A light guide mechanism of a fingerprint recognition plate includes a frame, a light guide plate, first electrodes, second electrodes and light emitting diodes. The frame has a hollow portion and receiving troughs. Each of the receiving troughs forms a first through hole and a second through hole penetrating the frame. The light guide plate covers the hollow portion. The first electrodes are in the first through holes, and the second electrodes are in the second through holes. Each of the light emitting diodes is in the receiving trough and includes a first electrode pin and a second electrode pin. The first electrode pin pierces the first through hole to be connected to the first electrode. The second electrode pin pierces through the second through hole to be connected to the second electrode. The first electrode pin and second electrode pin are exposed from the bottom of the frame.

    Abstract: A metal-carbon composite supported catalyst for hydrogen production using co-evaporation and a method of preparing the same, wherein the catalyst is configured such that a metal-carbon composite having a core-shell structure resulting from co-evaporation is supported on the surface of an oxide-based support coated with carbon, thereby maintaining superior durability without agglomeration even in a catalytic reaction at a high temperature. Because part or all of the surface of metal is covered with the carbon shell, even when the catalyst is applied under severe reaction conditions including high temperatures, long periods of time, acidic or alkaline states, etc., the metal particles do not agglomerate or are not detached, and do not corrode, thus exhibiting high performance and high durability. Therefore, inactivation of the catalyst or the generation of side reactions can be prevented, so that the catalyst can be efficiently utilized in hydrogen production.

    Abstract: A light guiding structure for fingerprint recognizing sheet is adapted between a circuit board and a protecting sheet for encompassing an image capture device. The light guiding structure includes a frame, side-emitting LEDs, and a light guiding sheet. The middle portion of the frame is defined as a hollowed portion. Conductive pairs are located on the frame and extended out of the frame to form a first contact and a second contact. The side-emitting LEDs are assembled to the frame and electrically connected to the conductive pairs. The light guiding sheet covers on the hollowed portion. The side-emitting LEDs are assembled around the periphery of the light guiding sheet. The light guiding structure can be directly assembled on the circuit board and encompass the image capture device, and therefore an electronic device can be provided with a fingerprint recognizing sheet having the light guiding structure.

The manufacturing method includes: forming a frame containing mixed materials having plastic materials and metallic materials in a manner of injection molding, forming patterns on the frame in a manner of laser engraving, and forming electric conductive portions in the patterns of the frame in a manner of electroplating or electroless plating. The frame is formed with electric conductive circuit. The light emitting diodes are mounted on the electric conductive portions of the frame by surface mount technology (SMT) process. Light rays emitted by the light emitting diodes can be transmitted in the light guide plate. When the frame is formed via the laser engraving process combining with electroplating process, the frame can be minimized.

The method comprises: in response to having received a data deletion command on sensitive data, marking a storage medium page where the sensitive data is located as invalid, and putting a storage medium block where the storage medium page is located in a garbage collection queue, wherein the storage medium block is a minimum unit of storage medium erasure in a SSD; determining a secure deletion time corresponding to the sensitive data; in response to a remaining time to a next garbage collection being longer than the secure deletion time corresponding to the sensitive data, setting a value of the remaining time as the secure deletion time; and triggering a garbage collection according to the remaining time. Using the solution according to the embodiment of the present disclosure, the security of the SSD can be enhanced.

    Abstract: An ambient light sensor includes a photoelectric conversion unit, a current control unit, a signal conversion unit and a comparison unit. The photoelectric conversion unit provides a photo current having a magnitude corresponding to illuminance of incident light to a first node. The current control unit generates a control current exponentially proportional to an elapse time based on a clock signal, provides the control current to the first node, and outputs a digital code corresponding to the elapse time in response to a reset signal. The signal conversion unit generates a comparison voltage logarithmically proportional to a sum of the photo current and the control current. The comparison unit generates the reset signal by comparing a magnitude of the comparison voltage and a magnitude of a reference voltage. The ambient light sensor generates the digital code effectively representing illuminance of ambient light that eyes of a human being perceives.
