    Abstract: A physical identification data (PID) addressing method using a wobble signal, a wobble address encoding circuit, a method and circuit for detecting the wobble address and a recording medium therefor. Groove tracks are classified into odd groove tracks and even groove tracks. Address information indicating physical identification information is phase modulated using wobble signals having a predetermined phase difference between two adjacent groove tracks, and recorded in each groove track so that address information modulated using the wobble signals having the phase difference of 90° between adjacent two groove tracks can be a quadrature phase shift keying (QPSK) signal. Accordingly, a larger amount of data can be recorded on the recording medium, and since an interval in which a wobble signal disappears is not caused, recovery of a wobble clock signal can be advantageously performed.

    Abstract: An artificial nail and polish remover includes a container for holding a quantity of solvent. The container defines a top opening, a semi-circular receptacle communicating with the top opening and a circular receptacle communicating with the top opening. The semi-circular receptacle is sized and shaped for simultaneous insertion therein of all the fore-fingers of a hand and the circular receptacle is positioned adjacent the semi-circular receptacle for insertion therein of the thumb. The container includes two indents which extend inwardly into the container for providing a secure finger grip to the container. The remover further includes a strip brush member fixedly coiled around the inside perimeter of the semi-circular receptacle and a tubular brush fixed within the circular receptacle.     Abstract: A trimaran type WIG (Wing-In-Ground) effect ship with a minimum waterplane area is disclosed. This WIG ship comprises a main hull and two half-submerged sub-hulls each having a minimum waterplane area capable of minimizing the wave resistance and appendage resistance of the ship, thus reducing speed loss on rough water. The WIG ship also has main and sub-wings and an effective propelling mechanism, designed such that they produce a strong lift force allowing a take-off of the ship sailing on water even at a low speed. The WIG ship is thus excellent in its seakeeping and maneuverability on the rough water. In the WIG ship, the main hull is intermediately positioned between the main wings and comprises a slender and half-submerged body, and bears 60% of the total displacement of the ship. The sub-hulls are respectively provided under the outer ends of the main wings, and each bear 20% of the total displacement, and act as an end plate.

    Abstract: One embodiment of a back lighting apparatus of a liquid crystal display apparatus includes a light source for generating light, a plurality of optical fibers having both ends optically connected with the light source and a part of the optical fibers attached to the back surface of the liquid crystal display panel. Each optical fiber has one or more diffusion lines for scattering light from the light source to a pixel line of the liquid crystal display panel, thereby lighting the entire portion of the back surface of the liquid crystal display panel. The apparatus has a support plate for fixing the optical fibers to the back surface of the liquid crystal display panel, and an optical diffusing unit for optically connecting the light source to the optical fibers. The present invention can improve the resolution of a liquid crystal display apparatus and allow implementation of a 3D image.

When addressing physical identification information on a recording medium, which has land and groove tracks in which data can be recorded, using wobbles, a wobble signal obtained by phase modulating address information indicating the physical identification information and a wobble signal having only a carrier are repeatedly alternatively recorded on both walls of either of a groove track and a land track by way of time division multiplexing. Accordingly, land and groove addresses can be detected by the same method, and the land track can be easily discriminated from a groove track by making the sizes of the addresses different in the land and groove tracks.
