Abstract: A method of and apparatus for recording data on an optical recording medium form a mark or a space by using a recording waveform having an erase pattern containing a multi-pulse. The method and the apparatus prevent distortion of the mark or the space and improve a mark shape such that a recording/reproducing characteristic of the optical recording medium is improved.

Abstract: An internal clock generating circuit of a semiconductor device includes: a delay chain having a plurality of delay units for generating multi-phase clocks by adjusting an input clock; a thermometer for outputting a thermometer code value in response to an input selection data; a multiplexer for selectively outputting one of a plurality of clocks input from the delay chain in response to the thermometer code value of the thermometer; and a pulse regenerator for outputting an adjusted internal clock by restoring a pulse form of the clock output from the multiplexer into its original state and controlling the delay thereof as much as desired.

Abstract: A trimaran type WIG (Wing-In-Ground) effect ship with a minimum waterplane area is disclosed. This WIG ship comprises a main hull and two half-submerged sub-hulls each having a minimum waterplane area capable of minimizing the wave resistance and appendage resistance of the ship, thus reducing speed loss on rough water. The WIG ship also has main and sub-wings and an effective propelling mechanism, designed such that they produce a strong lift force allowing a take-off of the ship sailing on water even at a low speed. The WIG ship is thus excellent in its seakeeping and maneuverability on the rough water. In the WIG ship, the main hull is intermediately positioned between the main wings and comprises a slender and half-submerged body, and bears 60% of the total displacement of the ship. The sub-hulls are respectively provided under the outer ends of the main wings, and each bear 20% of the total displacement, and act as an end plate.

An information repository is provided that contains layout information that is associated with one or more template blocks. A symbol layout abstraction model is then generated by associating the layout information that is associated with one or more of the template blocks with at least one of the circuit diagram blocks of the IC.

Abstract: A switched-mode power supply (SMPS) that operates in a burst mode when an electronic device that receives power from the SMPS demands a low level of power as when in a stand-by mode or cut-off mode. The SMPS contains a first power supply unit for receiving a power and rectifying it, and, according to a level of an output for the load, distinguishing between a normal mode and a burst mode to perform switching according to a timing corresponding to the normal mode and the burst mode to supply a first power. The SMPS also contains an output power supply unit for receiving the first power from the first power supply unit according to a winding ratio of a coil to generate a power for driving the load.

The method comprises a group creation and enrollment step, a group announcement step, a group query step, a group information acquisition step, a group registration step, a leaving of the group step, a failure information response step and a fragment message transmission step. In the group creation and enrollment step, a group management server creates a group and performs group registration. In the group announcement step, the group management server announces the created group. In the group query step, the group management client inquires the group information of the group management server. In the group information acquisition step, the group management client joins a known group address and acquires the group information. In the group registration step, the group management client enrolls in the group management server. In the leaving of the group step, the group management client leaves the group.

Abstract: A hinge system of a portable wireless terminal not only enables a folder to be opened from a terminal body but also enables front and rear surfaces of a folder of a portable wireless terminal to be turned over. The hinge system a folder-opening hinge module and a rotary-type hinge module, the cooperation of which realizes the above operation. The rotary-type hinge module includes a hinge housing rotatably assembled with the terminal body, a supporting shaft fixed to the hinge housing, and a rotary shaft rotatably assembled with the supporting shaft. The rotary shaft is connected with the folder and can be rotated with respect to the terminal body, thereby enabling the folder to be turned over in a state that the folder is opened.

Abstract: Material is deposited from an active shutter onto a substrate located in a processing chamber housing with a shutter target coupled to a shutter target assembly. A first target assembly located in the housing supports a target for physical-vapor deposition of a first material onto the substrate. A shutter is selectively moveable to extend into a closed or activated position and to retract into an open position. The shutter target assembly is coupled to the shutter such that when the shutter is in the closed position, the shutter target assembly is positioned to allow deposition of material from the shutter target onto the substrate. When the shutter is in the open position, the first target is positioned to deposit material onto the substrate. Alternating layers of materials may be deposited by the shutter target and first target by cycling the shutter between an open position and a closed position.
