  • Publication number: 20040028617
Abstract: A novel method of vehicle modulated administration of an anticonvulsive agent to the mucous membranes of humans and animals is disclosed. The vehicle system is an aqueous pharmaceutical carrier comprising an aliphatic alcohol (10-80%) or a glycol (10-80%), and their combinations with a biological surfactant such as a bile salt or a lecithin. The pharmaceutical composition provides a means to control and promote the rate and extent of transmucosal permeation and absorption of the medicaments via a single and multiple administration. Nasal administration of the pharmaceutical preparation produces a high plasma concentration of the anticonvulsant nearly as fast as intravenous administration.

  • Publication number: 20030200335
Abstract: A method and system can access local network access devices whose IP (Internet Protocol) addresses are not registered to a DNS (Domain Name System) server using domain names. For this, a local network gateway registers the IP addresses and the domain names mapped to the IP addresses thereto. If a domain name contained in a received DNS query packet is registered to the local network gateway, the local network gateway changes a DNS query packet into a DNS answer packet containing an IP address corresponding to the registered domain name and then transmits the DNS answer packet to a local personal computer. Otherwise, the local network gateway passes the DNS query packet to an external network as it is.

  • Patent number: 6392708
Abstract: A horizontal display size compensation circuit for a monitor prevents a horizontal display size of a monitor screen from being changed when a horizontal frequency varies according to a video mode. A horizontal frequency is generated by a horizontal frequency generation section corresponding to each video mode. A microcomputer generates a predetermined horizontal display size compensation signal according to the horizontal frequency corresponding to each video mode and a horizontal display size adjustment signal corresponding to an input of a key input section, and a horizontal display size control section controls a horizontal display size of the monitor screen by supplying the horizontal display size adjustment signal of the microcomputer and the horizontal display size compensation signal to the horizontal frequency. Therefore, a horizontal display size of a monitor screen is prevented from varying according to a video mode.

  • Patent number: 6212376
Abstract: Methods are provided for inhibiting and allowing alarm handling and displaying when an alarm is inhibited in a digital cellular system. A method for inhibiting alarm handling in a digital cellular system includes the step of inputting an Inhibit Alarm On/Off (INH-ALM-ONOFF) command in a base station manager (BSM). The range of the system to inhibit alarm handling and the type of alarm to be inhibited is set up. An option of inputted variables corresponding to the steps of setting up the range and the type of the alarm are checked. A state of equipment of program loaded data (PLD) is checked to determine whether one of a component group and components groups of the digital cellular system corresponding to the range is in use. It is then determined whether the alarm has occurred. Counts are reduced by as many times as occurrences of the alarm and clearing the alarm, when the alarm has occurred. It is then determined whether the alarm is performed with an Inhibit Alarm Message (INH-ALM-MSG).
