Abstract: Described are a method and a system for implementing function extension of an open platform. In the system, services that can be provided by an open platform are encapsulated and an operation interface is provided, so that plug-ins uniformly inherit the operation interface and transmit control parameters through the interface into a service entry to obtain the services. Therefore, the open platform has a simple framework and low coupling degree. Since the plug-ins are uniformly managed by a plug-in manager, the manageability and dynamic extensibility of the open platform are enhanced.

After the memory system is coupled with a host device, a first health status is output via an external electrical or mechanical interface of the memory system. One or more health metrics of the memory system are monitored. After a first predefined limit is reached with respect to the one or more health metrics, a second health status is output via the external electrical or mechanical interface of the memory system. The first health status differs from the second health status.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a dockbar implementation method, device and system, which belong to the field of communications. The method includes: acquiring an interface operation instruction for an application program inside a dockbar; generating a dockbar interface refresh data according to the interface operation instruction; and refreshing an interface of the dockbar according to the dockbar interface refresh data. The device includes an application layer and a logic layer. The present disclosure can realize the dynamicity of the dockbar and improve the flexibility of the dockbar.

The server system includes a host computer or host server that communicates with the array of FSM. Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus for interpolation which is able to process input data with multiple video standards without sacrificing chip area. The interpolation unit comprises: a first interpolation unit for interpolating input data; a second interpolation unit for interpolating input data; a filter indicator for providing information to the first interpolation unit and the second interpolation unit; and an output unit for multiplexing and averaging output from the first interpolation unit and the second interpolation unit. The present invention also provides a motion compensation unit and a decoder for processing multiple video standards.

Abstract: A fixed disc drive includes a built-in user level security system. The system includes instructions that create an user interface upon a computer allowing interaction with security features of the drive without relying upon BIOS compatibility. In a specific embodiment, the user level security interface is provided by the disc drive during the system boot sequence. A method of disc drive security includes receiving a request from a computer to provide an operating system, and responsively providing user level security interface instructions. The user level security instructions are then executed by the computer to generate a user level security interface. If the drive is in a locked state, the interface requires an user to provide an acceptable password otherwise access to data on the drive is forbidden or otherwise restricted.

Each driver module has a driver circuit and a corresponding feedback circuit. The driver circuits respectively generate driving currents, and then the driving currents are collected to drive the high power laser-emitting device or other high power devices. In addition, these feedback circuits of the driver modules receive the same detection signal that represents the output power of the high power laser-emitting device. Then, each feedback circuit responds to the same detection signal to generate a feedback signal, respectively, which makes the corresponding driver circuit carry out a feedback action for adjusting the driving currents.
