The semiconductor device includes first active regions disposed on a substrate, and an isolation region between the active regions. The isolation region includes a first portion formed of a first insulating material, and a second portion formed of a second insulating material, having different characteristics from those of the first insulating material. The first portion is closer to the first active regions than the second portion. The second portion has a bottom surface having a height different from that of a bottom surface of the first portion.

Abstract: Active-active standby is maintained for communication sessions using web connections between two active session zones and a standby session zone, for example, in the event of a failure. The first active session zone is located at a first datacenter, the second active session zone is located at a second datacenter, and the standby session zone is located at a third datacenter. In the event of a failure at a first active session zone at the first datacenter, a failover to the second active session zone at the second datacenter is performed. In the event of a failure at both active session zones, a failover to the standby session zone at the third datacenter is performed.

Abstract: A key determination method for a metal key. The method comprises a step of determining whether values output by an electrical parameter converter on a metal key satisfy multiple levels of thresholds, and, a step of setting a press flag of the metal key according to multiple levels of thresholds; and after the metal key is released, determining whether a release flag is valid according to a press model, and if so, clearing the press flag that was previously set. Different press models and different thresholds are selected and configured by means of software, so that personalized choices are provided for respective metal keys, which effectively facilitates different operators in configuring a metal keyboard according to usage habits, thereby improving the operating efficiency. In addition, the setting of different thresholds effectively protects the operational details mean for the exclusive use of operators, thereby achieving the required confidentiality.

Abstract: A vapor source system based on vapor-liquid ejector supercharging combined with flash vaporization technology belongs to the technical fields of waste heat utilization and steam generation. The system comprises a vapor-liquid ejector, a flash vaporization tank and a intermediate heat exchanger, wherein the vapor-liquid ejector uses high-pressure steam to raise temperature and pressure of low-pressure water absorbed from the flash vaporization tank; the pressure-increased water is flashed into low-pressure saturated steam after entering the flash vaporization tank; the saturated water which is not flashed is collected at the bottom of the flash vaporization tank.

Abstract: Disclosed is a preparation method of a polycarboxylate water reducer having a regular sequence structure. The preparation method of the present invention comprises: performing Michael addition on polyethylene glycol ether acrylate macromonomer A and amino-containing carboxylic acid B for 5-12 hours, then cooling to 0° C., dropwise adding acryloyl chloride slowly and evenly, and further reacting for 12 hours at room temperature to obtain carboxyl-containing polyether macromonomer C; mixing the carboxyl-containing polyether macromonomer C, a small molecular RAFT reagent, an initiator, and water adequately; and holding the polymerization mass concentration at 30%-60% and heating to 60-80° C. in the atmosphere of N2 to react for 2-5 hours to obtain the polycarboxylate water reducer having a regular sequence structure.

Abstract: Metal gate stacks and integrated methods of forming metal gate stacks are disclosed. Some embodiments comprise NbN as a PMOS work function material at a thickness in a range of greater than or equal to 5 ? to less than or equal to 50 ?. The PMOS work function material comprising NbN has an effective work function of greater than or equal to 4.75 eV. Some embodiments comprise HfO2 as a high-? metal oxide layer. Some embodiments provide improved PMOS bandedge performance evidenced by improved flatband voltage. Some embodiments exclude transition metal niobium nitride materials as work function materials.

Abstract: Rubber compounds may comprise: an epoxidized polypentenamer rubber (CPR) and/or a hydrolyzed epoxidized CPR; and a filler comprising silica particles. One nonlimiting example is rubber compound comprising: phr to 90 phr of a styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), a natural rubber (NR), and/or a butadiene rubber (BR); 10 phr to 50 phr of a epoxidized CPR and/or a hydrolyzed epoxidized CPR; and 10 phr to 200 phr of a filler comprising silica particles, wherein the SBR, the NR, the BR, the epoxidized CPR, and the hydrolyzed epoxidized CPR combined equal 100 parts. Rubber compounds comprising epoxidized CPR and/or a hydrolyzed epoxidized CPR; and a filler comprising silica particles may be useful in tire compositions.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments include a method, performed by a session management function (V-SMF) of a visited public land mobile network (VPLMN), for establishing a user-requested PDU session to be routed through the user's home PLMN (HPLMN). Such embodiments include receiving, from an access management function (AMF) in the HPLMN, a first request to establish a home-routed PDU session, wherein the first request identifies an SMF (H-SMF) in the HPLMN. Such embodiments also include sending, to the H-SMF, a second request to create the home-routed PDU session. The second request can include an identifier of a resource in the V-SMF associated with the PDU session; and one or more indicators of whether the V-SMF supports respective one or more features related to receiving, from the H-SMF, an identifier of a resource in the H-SMF that is associated with the PDU session. Embodiments also include complementary methods performed by the H-SMF.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is an aqueous latex composition comprising a substantially acrylic core-shell latex, wherein a water-retaining monomer is copolymerized to the shell. The Tg of the core ranges from about 0° C. to about 12° C., and the Tg of the shell ranges from about 13° C. to about 40° C. The mean volume average particle size of the latex ranges from about 125 nm to about 200 nm. The core-shell latex comprises at least one acrylic monomer having a solubility that ranges about 10 g/L to about 30 g/L at 30° C., and this at least one acrylic monomer is present in the shell polymer in an amount greater than about 50 wt. % of all monomers in the shell. Preferably, the at least one acrylic monomer is methyl methacrylate.
