  • Patent number: 10372113
Abstract: Two or more color data can be combined to form a new data source to enhance sensitivity to defocus signal. Defocus detection can be performed on the newly formed data source. In a setup step, a training wafer can be used to select the best color combination, and obtain defocus detection threshold. This can include applying a segment mask, calculating mean intensities of the segment, determining a color combination that optimizes defocus sensitivity, and generating a second segment mask based on pixels that are above a threshold to sensitivity. In a detection step, the selected color combination is calculated, and the threshold is applied to obtain defocus detection result.

  • Publication number: 20190228716
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and apparatus for driving an electrophoretic display panel, and a display device. The electrophoretic display panel includes a first electrode layer, a second electrode layer, and charged particles distributed between the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer. In the method for driving an electrophoretic display panel, a direct current voltage signal is applied to the first electrode layer to cause the charged particles to move to a predetermined position. An alternating current voltage signal is applied to the first electrode layer to cause the charged particles to oscillate. A data voltage signal is applied to the first electrode layer for display. After the charged particles oscillate, the motion activity can be improved, so that the charged particles may more accurately move according to the data voltage signal, thereby improving display accuracy.

  • Publication number: 20190228668
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for automatically predicting a surface movement path of an aircraft. The method comprises collecting historical aircraft trajectory data from an empirical aircraft path database. Next, aircraft trajectory paths for a designated airport are mapped based on the historical aircraft trajectory data and map data for the designated airport. Different aircraft trajectory paths are each assigned a weight for the designated airport. A graphical display is then generated for each of the aircraft trajectory paths for the designated airport along with a table that identifies a most probable terminal area and entry node for use by the aircraft at the designated airport.

  • Publication number: 20190205239
Abstract: A method and associated computer system. A first machine executes machine code in a debugging session on the first machine. The machine code had been previously received by the first machine from a second machine. The machine code includes machine executable instructions. The machine code was generated from compilation of source code developed and compiled on the second machine. In response to a change in the machine code having detected by the first machine in the debugging session on the first machine, the first machine determines a portion of the source code associated with the change in the machine code based on a profile. The profile indicates a mapping between the source code and the machine code. The first machine, while communicating with the second machine, causes the portion of the source code to be updated on the second machine based on the change in the machine code.
