    Abstract: Example photoconductive devices and example methods for using photoconductive devices are described. An example method may include providing a photoconductive device having a metal-semiconductor-metal structure. The method may also include controlling, based on a first input state, illumination of the photoconductive device by a first optical beam during a time period, and controlling, based on a second input state, illumination of the photoconductive device by a second optical beam during the time period. Further, the method may include detecting an amount of current produced by the photoconductive device during the time period, and based on the detected amount of current, providing an output indicative of the first input state and the second input state. The example devices can be used individually as discrete components or in integrated circuits for memory or logic applications.

The second body has a second engaging portion which is engaged with the first engaging portion. The second engaging portion has two L-shaped connection slots with which the ribs are engaged. Two inclined ramps are located in the first guide path so that the protrusion of the first body slides along the inclined ramps to guide the first engaging portion to be engaged with the second engaging portion. The protrusion is restricted by the contact faces of the blocks to restrict that the second body can only be rotated in one direction to engage the ribs with the connection slots.

    Abstract: A computer system for parsing bulk message information into intelligent question retrieval models receives text-based data associated with a particular user. The system encodes the word into a context-dependent vector, wherein the context-dependent vector indicates the meaning of the word across a semantic space. The system also identifies within a context-independent database a context-independent vector that is associated with the word. Further, the system generates an objective output by combining the context-dependent vector and the context-independent vector. Further still, the system generates a sentence encoding representation by processing at least a portion of the text-based data through a high-level feature embedded convolutional semantic model to generate numerical representations of questions and answers within the text-based dataset. The sentence encoding representation is generated at least in part based upon the objective output.

    Abstract: Devices and methods for preparing oxygen-containing liquid fuel by bio-oil catalytic conversion. A device includes a biomass fast thermal cracking system for preparing bio-oil, a bio-oil oil-water separating system for separating the bio-oil into oil phase bio-oil and water phase bio-oil that is output to an oil phase bio-oil chemical chain hydrogen production system, and a water phase bio-oil catalytic hydrogenation system. The hydrogen production system outputs produced hydrogen to the water phase bio-oil catalytic hydrogenation system to prepare a liquid fuel. A method includes the steps: thermally cracking the biomass to prepare bio-oil, separating the water phase and the oil phase, producing hydrogen from the oil phase bio-oil through a chemical chain method so as to provide a hydrogen source for the water phase bio-oil to carry out two-stage catalytic hydrogenation in a slurry bed, and separating and purifying the hydrogenated products to obtain an oxygen-containing liquid fuel.

The method comprises: subjecting genome DNA of the human tissue sample to a first sequencing, to obtain a sequencing result; determining DNA fragments containing both HPV sequence and human genome sequence, based on the sequencing result; determining a pair of amplification primers based on the DNA fragments containing both HPV sequence and human genome sequence, subjecting the genome DNA of the human tissue sample to PCR amplification using the pair of amplification primers, to obtain PCR product; and subjecting the PCR product to a second sequencing, to determine the integration site in a genome of the human tissue sample. The method is easy to be operated with low cost, high efficiency and excellent repeatability, which may be used to detect all HPV genotypes one time, and may rapidly and accurately determine detailed sequence information and integration site.

    Abstract: A refrigerator has a storage compartment, a door for opening and closing the storage compartment, an ice-making machine and an ice storage compartment.
