  • Patent number: 8466347
Abstract: New Brassica Ogura fertility restorer lines with a shortened Raphanus fragment are provided. The new lines lack the OPC2 marker and are capable of fully restoring fertility in Ogura cytoplasmic male sterile (cms) plants. The improved lines were developed using a new breeding method. The new breeding method can be used to shorten an exotic insertion comprising a gene of interest in any plant.

  • Publication number: 20120320778
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for channel measurement which includes: determining the size of measured bandwidth of a terminal and the location of the measured bandwidth in system bandwidth; determining the size of a measured sub-band and/or the quantity or sizes of measured sub-band sets according to the measured bandwidth; sending the determined size of the measured bandwidth and the location of the measured bandwidth in the system bandwidth, and the size of the measured sub-band and/or the quantity or sizes of the measured sub-band sets to the terminal; receiving measurement results returned by the terminal With the method provided in the present invention, invalid feedback is prevented and effectiveness and accuracy of channel measurement and feedback are improved.

  • Publication number: 20120188899
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a method for processing channel state information a terminal and a base station. The channel state information processing method includes: converting current channel state information into a current channel parameter frame; obtaining feedback information after performing frequency domain quantization and coding on the current channel parameter frame; and sending the feedback information to a base station.

  • Publication number: 20120131690
Abstract: Compositions and methods related to transgenic glyphosate tolerant Brassica plants are provided. Specifically, the present invention provides Brassica plants having a DP-061061-7 event which imparts tolerance to glyphosate. The Brassica plant harboring the DP-061061-7 event at the recited chromosomal location comprises genomic/transgene junctions within SEQ ID NO: 2 or with genomic/transgene junctions as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 12 and/or 13. The characterization of the genomic insertion site of events provides for an enhanced breeding efficiency and enables the use of molecular markers to track the transgene insert in the breeding populations and progeny thereof. Various methods and compositions for the identification, detection, and use of the events are provided.

Abstract: Compositions and methods related to transgenic glyphosate tolerant Brassica plants are provided. Specifically, the present invention provides Brassica plants having a DP-073496-4 event which imparts tolerance to glyphosate. The Brassica plant harboring the DP-073496-4 event at the recited chromosomal location comprises genomic/transgene junctions within SEQ ID NO: 2 or with genomic/transgene junctions as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 12 and/or 13. The characterization of the genomic insertion site of the event provides for an enhanced breeding efficiency and enables the use of molecular markers to track the transgene insert in the breeding populations and progeny thereof. Various methods and compositions for the identification, detection, and use of the event are provided.

  • Publication number: 20110274117
Abstract: A bandwidth allocation method and a routing device are provided. The bandwidth allocation method includes: obtaining traffic of a member port belonging to a binding link (101); and allocating corresponding bandwidth to the member port according to total bandwidth of a centralized scheduler and the traffic of the member port (102). By allocating the bandwidth to the member port belonging to the binding link through the centralized scheduler, the bandwidth may be flexibly allocated to the member port according to the traffic of the member port, so that not only the accuracy of allocating the bandwidth to the member port is ensured, but also bandwidth resources on the binding link are saved.

  • Publication number: 20110016584
Abstract: The present invention provides nucleic acid molecules and methods to down-regulate by virus-induced gene silencing (VIGS) vernalization genes in winter annuals, specifically the Flowering Locus C (FLC) gene in Brassica napus. Down-regulation of FLC allows winter annuals to flower without vernalization or with reduced vernalization. This, in turn, provides a shorter breeding cycling and the opportunity for enhanced genetic gain.
