  • Patent number: 4608595
Abstract: A white balance correction circuit for negative-to-positive conversion of television signals includes an imaging device for picking up a negative picture to develop video signals which are respectively indicative of three separated colors. The three separated color signals are processed by three processing circuits which are assigned in one-to-one correspondence thereto. An encoder circuit combines output signals of the respective processing circuits to provide a color composite video signal representative of a positive picture associated with the negative picture. Each of the processing circuits comprises an inversion circuit for inverting one of the three separated video signals associated therewith, and a clamp circuit for maintaining extreme values of the video signal at a first predetermined value, whereby a positive picture having an adjusted luminance is reproduced.

  • Patent number: 4571042
Abstract: In a disk film projector, desired one of frames of image recorded on a rotary disk of film having a central engaging core is placed at a projecting position for selective reproduction of images recorded in the frames. There is provided a drive unit including a rotary driving shaft having its forward end engageable with the engaging core of the disk film. The rotary disk is held in a plane substantially normal to the rotary driving shaft upon insertion of the rotary disk in position within the projector. The disk film is introduced into, and taken out of, the projector only in a direction substantially normal to the rotary driving shaft. The driving shaft is normally urged in a direction such that the driving shaft is brought into engagement with the engaging core of the rotary disk held in the aforementioned manner. The rotary driving member is locked at a position spaced from the rotary disk when the rotary driving shaft is manually shifted against the urging member and away from the rotary disk.

  • Patent number: 4370468
Abstract: Provided is a biaxially drawn film composed substantially of polyhexamethylene adipamide, which has a refractive index of at least 1.560 in both the longitudinal direction and the transverse direction and an ultraviolet absorbance E.sub.268 of not more than 0.4, as measured at a wavelength of 268 m.mu. on a film solution in formic acid. The film preferably exhibits a shrinkage factor of not more than 5% in both the longitudinal direction and the transverse direction, as measured after dipping in hot water at 135.degree. C. for 10 minutes. The film is prepared by heat-treating a biaxially drawn polyhexamethylene adipamide film in an inert gas atmosphere at a temperature higher than the drawing temperature employed but lower than the melting point of the film.

  • Patent number: 4267080
Abstract: Polymers of ethylene having incorporated therein (1) 5-50 weight parts of a rubber and/or an elastomer based on 100 weight parts of the ethylene polymers, (2) a crosslinking agent selected from bis(tert. alkylperoxy)-alkane or bis(tert. alkylperoxy)benzene, and (3) 0.5-5 times by weight the amount of the crosslinking agent, of at least one cross-linking aid selected from 1,2-polybutadiene, triallyl cyanurate and triallyl isocyanurate, are rotationally molded to produce molded articles possessing good release characteristics as well as high impact strength and enhanced surface luster.
