Abstract: A fluid pressure control arrangement for an automatic transmission comprises a control unit for calculating a shifting frequency and a determining a frictional coefficient of frictionally engageable elements of the transmission. Fluid pressure correction is calculated based on the shifting frequency and a throttle valve opening angle detected by a sensor. A signal indicative of the fluid pressure correction value is output to actuate a solenoid for effecting adjustment of fluid pressure in the automatic transmission for adjusting the line pressure in accordance with the determined frictional coefficient of the frictionally engageable elements to maintain sufficient engagement capacity of the frictionally engageable elements.

Abstract: In an electronically controlled automatic power transmission of an automotive vehicle in which an electronic control unit is installed at a predetermined position of the vehicle remote from a main frame of the automatic power transmission, a characteristic storage unit is installed on the main frame of the automatic power transmission, the characteristic storage unit has a memory which stores inherent characteristics of controllable devices and components such as frictional engagement elements, solenoids, and sensors installed in the main frame of the automatic power transmission and is electrically connected to the electronic control unit.

Abstract: A control system for an automatic power transmission monitors atmospheric pressure and a throttle valve open angle. The system corrects the monitored throttle valve open angle on the basis of the monitored atmospheric pressure so as to compensate for a drop of engine output torque due to lowering of the atmospheric pressure. The corrected throttle valve open angle is used for performing shift control and/or line pressure control.

Abstract: A lock device of a door for a cargo room of a wagon type vehicle includes a main lock member disposed at the upper edge of a lower door and having a latch and a ratchet for preventing the reverse rotation of the latch; a main striker disposed at the lower edge of the upper door and engaging with the main lock member; side lock members disposed on both right and left sides of the lower side door; two side strikers engaging with the side lock members; a key operation member disposed on the outer surface of the lower door and releasing the engagement between the main lock member and the main striker; and a door opening handle disposed on the outer surface of the lower door and releasing the engagement between the side lock members and the side strikers.

Abstract: A strainer for paints or the like is proposed which comprises a main body portion and a filter plate portion, both carrying a filter cloth. When the filter plate portion is folded into the main body portion, there is left some space between the filter cloth on the former and that on the latter.
