In a data content management table, information of a list of broadcasting transport files and a central file constituting a presentation unit, and a list of files to be pre-cached is described for each data broadcasting presentation unit. When a list of broadcasting files constituting a data broadcasting presentation unit to be referred to next after a current data broadcasting presentation unit is designated as a pre-cache target, a receiver side can pre-cache file data necessary for a data broadcasting presentation unit to be transitioned to next, and a timely data broadcasting service interoperating with a broadcast program can be realized.

Abstract: A reception apparatus and a reception method, by which a file is received in an MMT system. On a transmission side, a resource constituting an application, information mapping a URL, which indicates a location in an application, on a location on an MMT transmission path of broadcasting or the like, and information indicating a unit of display and a link relationship in the application are transmitted. On a receiver side, access ranges to hierarchical file data when a data broadcasting application is executed, and location information and size of the file data in each access range are acquired, and the application is effectively pre-cached.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a receiving device for receiving AV contents, the receiving device including: an obtaining section configured to obtain a description document described in a program language for displaying contents from a server present on a network connected with the receiving device; a determining section configured to determine whether the obtained the description document is obtained from a first server managed on a broadcaster side broadcasting the AV contents; and a controlling section configured to control execution of the obtained the description document according to a result of determination by the determining section.

The circuitry acquires a second table in which application control information identified by second control information is stored. A simple and inexpensive receiver 300 equipped with only a receiving antenna for broadcasting and a demodulator can receive the message of emergency alert information. An evacuation direction and a map or route to a shelter can be displayed using digital signage or streetlights, and an evacuation route can be instructed using streetlights.
