  • Publication number: 20060171703
Abstract: When continuous-zoom-photographing mode is selected, the through image of a subject and first and second continuous-zoom-photographing frames are produced on an image-display section. When a user operates a cross key, recorded information about the trimming position of each of the first and second continuous-zoom-photographing frames is updated according to the cross-key operation and the first and second continuous-zoom-photographing frames are produced at the updated trimming position recorded after the update. After a shutter button is pressed down, still-image photographing is started and image data obtained thereby is stored in a buffer memory. On the basis of the obtained image data, image data is generated for each of the first and second continuous-zoom-photographing frames through trimming processing and stored in the buffer memory. The obtained image data and the generated image data are stored in a flash memory.

  • Publication number: 20060170807
Abstract: A second-frame is displayed while a through image is displayed for a reviewing purpose immediately after the photographing operation is performed. The user is allowed to combine an object image of ID photograph with the second-frame. The user obtains plural ID photograph sizes with respect to the previously set display language by operating SET key (at step S14). The ID photograph sizes are different from country to country. The user trims portions of an image of image data defined by the second-frame based on plural ID photograph sizes to produce plural trimmed-images (images of ID photograph of different sizes (at step S15). One layout image is produced using the plural trimmed-images based on a layout chosen by the user (at step S18), and is recorded (at step S19).

  • Publication number: 20060164536
Abstract: When an imaging device is set to a BS shooting mode, the imaging device goes into a through-image display state of an object being shot. When a user operates a SET-key, the imaging device is changed to a detailed-screen state in which a sample image, etc., corresponding to each shooting scene is singly displayed. When the user operates a Wide-key of the zoom key in the detailed-screen display state, the imaging device is changed to a multi-screen state of the sample image corresponding to each shooting scene. The user can select a sample image in the detailed-screen state and the multi-screen state. When the user selects a sample image and operates the SET-key, the parameters of the shooting scene corresponding to the selected sample image are set as shooting conditions and the imaging device returns to the through-image display state.

  • Publication number: 20050180517
Abstract: A signal receiving apparatus and method which is high in deduction accuracy of transfer characteristic and less in error rate during signal decoding. For each detection signal of a pilot carrier allotted in an OFDM symbol space, a transfer function thereof is calculated. The transfer function is subjected to two-dimensional Fourier transform as to impulse delay time and symbol frequency thereby generating a two-dimensional data space. A predetermined domain of the two-dimensional data space is extracted by a filter extracting domain. The data included in the extracted domain is subjected to two-dimensional inverse Fourier transform as to carrier frequency and symbol time, thereby generating a deduced transfer function.

  • Patent number: 6829298
Abstract: A signal processing circuit for a digital signal receiving system includes an equalization unit for performing waveform-equalization of a received signal, the equalization unit including a backward equalizer constituted by a feedback loop; and a phase compensation unit for performing phase compensation of the received signal. The phase compensation unit is arranged upstream of the backward equalizer. Thus, it is possible to avoid the deterioration of the phase compensation ability of the phase compensation unit by the affection from the echo in the transmission path.

  • Patent number: 6775712
Abstract: The present invention is to allow display based on the setting positions of devices in selection of a desired device to be used, and facilitate selection considering the setting positions of the devices. The present invention can also display equipments so as to allow discrimination between an equipment included in an image processing apparatus and an equipment connected on a communication line. Equipments in a network environment are placed on the first floor (1F), the second floor (2F), and the third floor (3F) in a building and connected through a network (LAN 1300). For example, a computer (1310) collects device information including status information and setting position information from usable input/output devices. For example, status information representing “BUSY” and setting position information representing “3F-B block” are transferred from a virtual optical scanner (1302).

  • Publication number: 20040087287
Abstract: An Automatic Gain Control system (AGC) in which an adder adds a Radio Frequency (RF) signal power of only the low-frequency component of a RF signal and an intermediate-frequency (IF) signal of an output from a variable-gain intermediate-frequency amplifier, which is higher than the frequency of the low-frequency component, and outputs the result to an A/D converter. This construction makes it possible to input power data for the RF stage to a demodulation LSI. The demodulation LSI separates the low-frequency component from the input signal, and by detecting the power of the extracted signal, is able to obtain the output data for the RF signal, and it separates the IF component from the input signal, and by detecting the power of the extracted signal, is able to obtain the output data for the IF signal.

  • Patent number: 6671314
Abstract: The adder subtracts the estimated echo from the input symbol to generate the demodulated symbol, and the Trellis decoder applies Trellis decoding onto the demodulated symbol to generate maximum likelihood transmission symbol sequence. The feedback register stores estimated transmission symbol values for a feedback filter, and A coefficient register stores coefficient values for the feedback filter. The feedback register updating unit generates the estimated transmission symbol and the estimated transmission symbol value corresponding to the next time point based on the demodulated symbol, the maximum likelihood transmission symbol sequence and the estimated transmission symbol corresponding to a current time point, and updates the values stored in the feedback register by using the estimated transmission symbol value corresponding to the next time point. The coefficient updating unit updates the values stored in the coefficient register based on the demodulated symbol and the estimated transmission symbol.
