  • Patent number: 7832498
Abstract: It is an object of the invention to provide a technique for further improving the vibration reducing performance in an impact tool. A representative impact tool includes a tool body, a cylinder housed within the tool body, a dynamic vibration reducer having a weight that linearly moves under a biasing force of an elastic element, wherein the dynamic vibration reducer reduces vibration of the tool body during hammering operation by the movement of the weight in the axial direction of the tool bit, and a mechanical vibration mechanism that actively drives the weight by applying external force other than vibration of the tool body to the weight via the elastic element. The weight and the elastic element are disposed on the axis of the tool bit and between an inner wall surface of the tool body and an outer wall surface of the cylinder in such a manner as to cover at least part of the outer wall surface of the cylinder in the circumferential direction.

  • Publication number: 20100137666
Abstract: A catalyst for aromatizing a lower hydrocarbon, in order to increase the amount of production of useful aromatic compounds, such as benzene and toluene, by improving the methane conversion rate, the benzene formation rate, the naphthalene formation rate and the BTX formation rate (or a total formation rate of benzene, toluene and xylene) is such that molybdenum and silver are loaded on a metallosilicate as a substrate. It is more preferable to obtain the aromatizing catalyst by loading molybdenum and silver after modifying a zeolite formed of the metallosilicate with a silane compound that has a molecular diameter larger than a pore diameter of the zeolite and that has an amino group, which selectively reacts at a Bronsted acid point of the zeolite, and a straight-chain hydrocarbon group.

  • Patent number: 7252156
Abstract: It is an object of the invention to provide an effective technique for reducing the manufacturing costs of a handle mounted to a power tool. According to the invention, a representative handle may comprise a handle body, a grip, an elastic element and an elastic outer surface member. The grip is hollow-shaped and the handle body is inserted into the grip. The elastic element is disposed between the inner surface of the grip and the outer surface of the handle body to apply a biasing force to the grip upon movement of the grip with respect to the handle body when vibration of the power tool is transmitted from the handle body to the grip. The elastic outer surface member covers the outer surface of the grip. The elastic outer surface member is integrally formed with the elastic element. As a result, the manufacturing costs can be reduced compared with known construction in which the elastic outer surface member and the elastic element are separately formed.

  • Patent number: 7137542
Abstract: It is an object of the invention to provide a vibration reducing technique which is effective in obtaining stable vibration reducing effectiveness. A representative vibration isolating handle may include a body, a grip part and an elastic member. The handle body is provided to be attachable to the power tool. The grip part is connected to the handle body such that the grip part can move relatively with respect to the handle body substantially in the same direction at least as vibration of the power tool. The elastic member is provided between the handle body and the grip part. The elastic member applies a biasing force to the grip part when the grip part moves. According to the invention, vibration of the grip part can be reduced by the vibration absorbing function of the elastic member with stability regardless of whether the force of the user gripping the grip part is large or small.

  • Publication number: 20050135087
Abstract: A mirror with lighting system includes a plurality of organic electroluminescent elements arranged adjacent to one another. A light emission switching device selects one of a full light emission state where all the organic electroluminescent elements emit light, a partial light emission state where some of the organic electroluminescent elements emit light, and a non-light emission state where all the organic electroluminescent elements do not emit light. Therefore, the mirror with lighting system has great light intensity without an external lighting when being used as a lighting system as compared to when being used as a mirror, and permits the entire surface to be used as a mirror when the environment is bright.

  • Publication number: 20050000604
Abstract: An aluminum alloy according to the present invention includes from 4.0 to 6.0% Mg, from 0.3 to 0.6% Mn, from 0.5 to 0.9% Fe, and the balance of Al and inevitable impurities when the entirety is taken as 100% by mass. By appropriately selecting the composition range of Mg, Mn and Fe, it has been possible to micro-finely crystallize Al (Mn, Fe) compounds while inhibiting the growth of primary-crystal Al. As a result, the resulting aluminum alloy is good in terms of the castability, and shows high strength as well as high ductility.

  • Patent number: 5099926
Abstract: An impact tool includes a body, a barrel mounted on the body and a cylinder disposed within the barrel and reciprocally moved by a drive mechanism. A communication groove is formed between the cylinder and the barrel and communicates with the outside. The cylinder includes a plurality of communication holes formed in a radial direction and spaced from each other in a longitudinal direction. A striker is reciprocally movable within the cylinder, and an air chamber is formed between the striker and the cylinder. The striker is positioned at a first position when the tool bit is not pressed on a work. The striker at the first position permits communication between the air chamber and the communication groove through any one of the communication holes so as to be prevented from idle impact. Further, the striker is movable to a second position rearward of the first position through the pressing operation of the tool bit on the work.
