  • Patent number: 11128110
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present technology comprise a method and apparatus for an ignition system. In various embodiments, the ignition system activates a soft shutdown of an ignition coil in the event of an over dwell condition. The apparatus comprises a first counter and a second counter that are selectively activated at predetermined events. An output of the second counter controls the value of a reference current that decreases linearly over time and wherein a rate of change of the reference current may be adjusted according to a frequency of a clock signal. In various embodiments, the soft shutdown operates independent of the supply voltage and temperature.

  • Patent number: 10423705
Abstract: Users can upload files (or folders) managed by a file system of an operating system or the like to a desired folder included in a hierarchical folder structure displayed by a rich Internet application executed on a web browser, by executing a drag and drop operation. A first extended program displays a hierarchical folder structure managed by a document management server in a display area on the web browser, determines whether a pointing device overlaps with any folder displayed on the web browser based on mouse event information set by the web browser, and sets information about the folder overlapping with the pointing device in the web browser. The web browser stores folder information in a bridge data storage unit. A second extended program, operating on a web browser, uploads the file to the folder identified by the folder information stored in the bridge data storage unit.

  • Patent number: 10001740
Abstract: A curl correcting apparatus includes rollers, a motor, and a clutch portion. The rollers are curl correction-use rollers which are arranged in parallel to each other in a pressure-contact state and which are different in hardness. The motor is a motor capable of rotating in forward and reverse directions relative to a correction-amount adjusting portion that changes and adjusts a distance to the rollers as a result of an eccentric cam that integrally rotates in accordance with a rotation amount of a rotation shaft, pressing against the rollers. The clutch portion transmits a rotary driving force of the motor to the rollers during the forward rotation and to a rotation shaft during the reverse rotation.

  • Patent number: 8739251
Abstract: Provided are a method, system, and computer storage device for managing zone information for devices in a network. A zone table includes entries indicating whether devices in at least one zone are permitted to communicate. An attributes table has attributes of the devices indicated in the zone table. A determination is made of attributes from the attributes table for devices indicated in the zone table entries as being permitted to communicate. The entries in the zone table indicating that devices can communicate are verified by determining whether the attributes for the devices indicated as permitted to communicate in the entries in the zone table are consistent with the determined devices being able to communicate. Information is outputted indicating whether the entries in the zone table indicating that devices can communicate are in error.

  • Patent number: 8694883
Abstract: The document management system assigns property information of a scanned document when transmitting the scanned document from an MFP to a document management server PC, and stores history information related to the transmission job in a memory. Further, the MFP, on receipt of incorrectness information related to property information from the document management server PC, adds the incorrectness information to the history information. Thereafter, when a user logs into the MFP, the MFP determines whether incorrectness information is included in history information having the same user ID as a user ID of the user, and if incorrectness information is included, displays a modification screen for modifying incorrect property information. Further, once the property information has been modified via the modification screen, the MFP transmits the modified information to the document management server PC, and causes information managed by the document management server PC to be updated.
