  • Publication number: 20090108990
Abstract: The present invention provides a battery-free electronic key used in motorcycles and improves security. A communication circuit (44) is actuated when an electronic key is inserted into a keyhole. An electromotive force generated in a coil L2 is rectified by a power circuit (74) and supplied to the components of an electronic key-side circuit (40) as a source of power, in accordance with the variations of an electromagnetic field having a frequency of f0 generated by the communication circuit (44). The electronic key-side circuit (40) reads identification information from a storage unit (72), and the information is converted to ternary value data in a binary value/ternary value conversion circuit (70). Transistors Tr1 and Tr2 are switched on and off in accordance with the bit values of 2-bit data that expresses ternary value data, which generates three-stage variations in the electromagnetic field between coils L1 and L2.

  • Publication number: 20090043469
Abstract: A driving force distribution control device for a four wheel drive vehicle having a mechanism that distributes the torque of an engine, which is transmitted to a main drive wheel, to a secondary drive wheel determines a first torque to be distributed to the secondary drive wheel on the basis of the engine torque, and corrects the determined first torque on the basis of a yaw rate deviation between a target yaw rate and an actual yaw rate of the vehicle. When an absolute value of the yaw rate deviation is equal to or greater than a predetermined value, the mechanism is controlled on the basis of the corrected torque.

  • Publication number: 20070222289
Abstract: A driving force control apparatus is configured to automatically apply a braking force to a plurality of wheels in order to descend down a hill at a constant speed, such that the wheels can be prevented from being locked by the braking force, and the vehicle speed can be prevented from increasing. In order for a vehicle to travel at a preset speed, the vehicle driving force control apparatus detects the speeds of the wheels subjected to a braking force, and switches the vehicle from a four-wheel drive (4WD) mode in which driving force is distributed to all of the wheels to a two-wheel drive (2WD) mode in which driving force is distributed to only the front wheels. The switch is made when the vehicle speed is equal to or less than a lower limit threshold. The front wheels are prevented from locking, and increases in the vehicle speed are suppressed.

Abstract: Unnecessary leakage current to a semiconductor substrate is prevented when a forward current flows through a diode. An N-type well region is formed in a surface of a P-type semiconductor substrate. A P-type well region is formed in the N-type well region. An N+-type diffusion layer is formed in a surface of the N-type well region outside the P-type well region. A P+-type diffusion layer and an N+-type diffusion layer are formed in a surface of the P-type well region. The N+-type diffusion layer formed in the surface of the N-type well region is electrically connected with the P+-type diffusion layer formed in the surface of the P-type well region with a wiring made of aluminum, for example. An anode electrode is connected with the wiring. Also, a cathode electrode is connected with the N+-type diffusion layer.

  • Patent number: 6497301
Abstract: To achieve a first object of the present invention, a starting time limit vehicle speed which preferentially permits a torque distribution to front and rear wheels at the time of starting of a vehicle is switched in accordance with a degree of a diameter difference. To achieve a second object of the present invention, when the vehicle makes a normal running with different-diameter tires mounted thereon, a front/rear wheel distribution torque caused by a front/rear wheel rotation speed difference owing to the different-diameter tires is limited by switching a torque gain depending on a degree of a diameter difference.
