  • Patent number: 7417365
Abstract: In a corner portion outside a display region of a face substrate which constitutes a face panel of a display device, an opening is formed. In the opening, a stem glass structural body which is configured by integrally forming an exhaust pipe on a center portion of a stem glass and by forming conductive leads in a peripheral portion thereof in an embedded manner, is fixed by welding using curing by heating. The exhaust pipe is evacuated and, thereafter, tipped off, thus realizing vacuum sealing of the inside thereof. A lead line is connected to a distal end of one conductive lead by welding and another end of the lead line is electrically connected with one end portion of the anode formed on an inner surface of the face substrate using a conductive adhesive agent. Further, a getter is mounted and fixed to another conductive lead line by welding.

  • Publication number: 20080143253
Abstract: Light-emitting devices (24) and light-emitting displays (1) for realizing bright display by allowing light emitted from an emissive layer (100) to efficiently contribute to a display. • Patent number: 7385343
Abstract: Rupture of distance holding members, aback substrate or a front substrate attributed to atmospheric pressure is suppressed in a display device in which, between the back substrate having cathode lines and plate-member control electrodes and the front substrate, a large number of distance holding members, which maintain distance between the substrates, are mounted in an erect manner. At portions where the distance holding members are brought into contact with the back substrate and/or the front substrate, a buffering/fixing material, which is constituted of a buffering material having high resiliency and an adhesive, is interposed for dispersing the atmospheric pressure applied from the back substrate and the front substrate substantially uniformly. Further, the distance holding members are fixed between the back substrate and the front substrate by a heat treatment and a pressurizing step.
