  • Publication number: 20110092259
Abstract: A slide phone includes a first body, a main sheet, a second body, a pair of lever, a keypad, and a pair of supports. The main sheet is mounted on the first body. The second body is slidably installed on the main sheet and capable of moving relative to the first body. When the slide phone is closed, the second body forms a receiving space together with the first body. The levers are positioned to opposite sides of the first body. The keypad is mounted on the levers and can be accommodated in the receiving space when the slide phone is closed, and can be lifted by the levers to be substantially coplanar with an upper surface of the second body when the slide phone is opened. The pair of supports is mounted on the first body adjacent to the lever correspondingly.

  • Publication number: 20110041553
Abstract: A method for inlaying a gold ornament is disclosed. A substrate is provided which has an outer surface. A groove is defined in the substrate through the outer surface. A gold ornament is manufactured. The gold ornament has substantially the same shape as the groove. The gold ornament is placed in the groove wherein is positioned with metallic solder. Then the substrate is heated, whereby the melting and subsequent cooling of the solder bonds the gold ornament to the substrate. A housing for electronic device inlaid with a gold ornament made by the present method is also provided.

  • Patent number: 7706691
Abstract: A transmission device having optical fiber high definition digital audio-video data interface (HDMI/DVI/UDI), in which optical fiber is utilized as the physical connection for the logical channels of the transmission device, and is used to carry images, voices and auxiliary data of the logic channels. For the half-duplex transmission mode utilized by the display data channel, the reverse unit, the serial unit, and the multi-serial unit are properly arranged, thus fulfilling the DC balance requirement of optical fiber transmission, and resolving the lower tolerance rate shortcomings of the I2C bus specification of display data channel (DDC) and the customer electronics control (CEC) channel.

  • Publication number: 20100093980
Abstract: The present invention is based, at least in part, on the discovery that strategic modifications of non-human donor antibody CDR residue(s) can be used to humanize antibodies. Such modifications modulate the 3D structural fit between donor antibody CDRs and human acceptor antibody framework regions that comprise the variable domains of a CDR-grafted antibody. Whereas prior art methods of humanization have relied on making framework substitutions (in which selected human framework residues are backmutated to the corresponding amino acid residue present in the non-human donor antibody), the instant invention is based, at least in part, on a method of humanizing antibodies in which selected CDR residues, and optionally adjacent FR residues, are changed in order to accommodate differences in FR amino acid sequences between donor and acceptor antibodies.

  • Patent number: 7239812
Abstract: A pluggable bi-directional transceiver with a single optical fiber comprises a sub-assembly module, a circuit board, a main frame, an upper cover, a lower cover, a tab-base and a tab, connected to a communication equipment. The sub-assembly module connected to a single optical fiber includes a WDM, which reflects or transmits a specific wavelength optical signal adapted to function in receiving and transmitting optical signal. The circuit board exchanges the signal of the sub-assembly module with the communication equipment. The main frame and the upper and lower covers are used to fix and protect elements. The tab and tab-base are used to fix the transceiver on the equipment or remove from it. The specifications of the transceiver follow the small form-factor pluggable transceiver multi-source agreement.

  • Publication number: 20060054608
Abstract: A method of calibrating a laser marking system includes calibrating a laser marking system in three dimensions. The step of calibrating includes storing data corresponding to a plurality of heights. A position measurement of a workpiece is obtained to be marked. Stored calibration data is associated with the position measurement. A method and system for calibrating a laser processing or marking system is provided. The method includes: calibrating a laser marker over a marking field; obtaining a position measurement of a workpiece to be marked; associating stored calibration data with the position measurement; relatively positioning a marking beam and the workpiece based on at least the associated calibration data; and calibrating a laser marking system in at least three degrees of freedom. The step of calibrating includes storing data corresponding to a plurality of positions and controllably and relatively positioning a marking beam based on the stored data corresponding to the plurality of positions.
