  • Publication number: 20080028558
Abstract: The present invention provides a functional toothbrush which enhances both the penetration into gaps between teeth and the efficiency of brushing tooth surfaces. The functional toothbrush includes rows which each have needle-shaped bristles set in a longitudinally elongate groove and which are longitudinally arranged along an outer edge of a head part of a toothbrush body. The functional toothbrush further includes other rows which each have needle-shaped bristles set in a latitudinally elongate groove and which are longitudinally arranged on a central portion of the head part of the toothbrush body. A length of each of the needle-shaped bristles set in the outer edge of the head part is longer than a length of each of the needle-shaped bristles set in the central portion of the head part by 1.5-3.5 mm. Each of the elongate grooves has an elliptical shape.

  • Publication number: 20070164561
Abstract: The present invention relates to a metal nozzle boss provided with a sealing device, which has highly improved tightness and is combined with a plastic liner of a composite vessel used as a high-pressure vessel. The metal nozzle boss uses an elastic seal ring and a tightening piece in the plastic liner, so that the nozzle boss reliably seals the junction of the nozzle boss and the liner and prevents gas leakage from the vessel. The blade part of the nozzle boss has a dovetail-shaped locking groove, with locking ridges formed in the locking groove. Thus, when the plastic liner is produced by injecting molten resin into the locking groove, the plastic liner is securely combined with the metal nozzle boss. The composite vessel having the metal nozzle boss can be used as a fuel tank for natural gas vehicles or a hydrogen tank for fuel cell vehicles.

  • Publication number: 20070165039
Abstract: A video decoder organizes and stores pixel lines of a reference picture into first and second memory devices. The video decoder then reads portions of a pixel block from the first and second memory devices and processes such a pixel block for generating a subsequent picture. By reading from the first and second memory device with time overlap, latency is minimized for faster video decoding.

  • Publication number: 20070156937
Abstract: A multiprocessor system includes a plurality of masters, at least one first type of slave operating with a first clock frequency, and at least one second type of slave operating with a second clock frequency higher than the first clock frequency. An arbitrator coordinates access between the masters and the slaves via a single read/write bus path between the arbitrator and the first type of slave, and via a plurality of read bus paths and/or a plurality of write bus paths between the arbitrator and the second type of slave.

  • Patent number: 6764142
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a toothbrush with tapered bristles and method of manufacturing such toothbrushes. The toothbrush is characterized in that the tapered end of each bristle is 0.02 mm or less of diameter. The bristle is tapered starting at a position of 3.5 mm or less from an end, and is made of polyethylene terephthalate or polybutylene terephthalate. The method of this invention consists of the steps of dipping 3.5 mm portions from ends of monofilaments for toothbrushes into erosive chemicals such as sulfuric acid or sodium hydroxide until the dipped portions of the monofilaments are completely eroded, neutralizing the shortened monofilaments prior to rinsing and drying them, and implanting the shortened monofilaments on a toothbrush. Thereafter, the shortened monofilaments are ground using a 240# mesh paper at 2600 to 2700 rpm for 3 to 10 sec, a 320# mesh paper at same speed for 3 to 10 sec, and a 400# mesh paper at same speed for 3 to 10 sec.
