  • Patent number: 7367788
Abstract: A pump including a main body having a piston provided in a portion of the main body, the piston being configured to reciprocate linearly. A piston spring may be provided within the main body and configured to bias the piston toward an end of the main body. Further, a plurality of intake check valves may be positioned radially within the main body and configured to move in a direction generally perpendicular to the linearly reciprocating direction of the piston such that brake fluid is introduced into the main body. Additionally, the pump may include an exhaust check valve configured to exhaust brake fluid from an inside of the main body to an exterior of the main body by moving an exhaust check ball in the linearly reciprocating direction of the piston.

  • Publication number: 20080070650
Abstract: A sliding module for a double sliding-type portable communication terminal is provided. The double sliding-type portable communication terminal includes a body housing and a sliding housing movably coupled to the body housing so as to slide on the body housing in a first direction and a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction. The sliding module includes a base member, a first sliding member laminated on the base member to enable the sliding housing to slide on the body housing in the first direction, a second sliding member integrally mounted on the sliding housing and laminated on the first sliding member to allow the sliding housing to slide on the body housing in the second direction, and a guide member provided for the sliding housing to guide the sliding movement of the second sliding member.

  • Patent number: 7191402
Abstract: A partial region on a screen can be selected for highlighting. Information related to the partial region is transmitted from a computer to a computer monitor. In one embodiment, the partial region information is sent over a different port from the one used to send video data. The image processor adjusts contrast and sharpness of the partial region according to the partial region information. Adjustments are made for differences in a coordinate system between the computer site and the display device. The partial region can be selected from the computer or from a user interface on the computer monitor. Selected partial regions can be moved in conjunction with movements of windows containing the image. Highlighted selected regions can also be automatically disabled when the window is deactivated.

  • Patent number: 6868730
Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus or a method for measuring flexural waves and/or vibrations acting on ferromagnetic materials or ferromagnetic films. The present invention includes a bias magnet disposed around the ferromagnetic material so as to form a magnetic field in accordance with a stress distribution pattern occurring as the flexural wave propagates along the above said ferromagnetic material, and a measuring device for measuring the time-varying change of the magnetic induction resulting from the propagation of flexural waves on the ferromagnetic material. In addition to the above components, the bias yoke can be disposed around the ferromagnetic material to support the function of the magnet and the formation of the magnetic circuit as a measuring device for the change of the magnetic induction. In addition, a fixed electromagnet can be used as the bias magnet.

  • Publication number: 20040179330
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a bar-type wireless communication terminal, and a rotary type hinge device thereof. The bar-type wireless communication terminal comprises a lower body and an upper body. The lower body is installed at its one side surface with a camera lens unit, and at its front and rear surfaces with first and second keypads, respectively. The upper body is coupled to the upper end of the lower body so that it is rotatable in a twisting direction relative to a rotation axis extending in a longitudinal direction of the lower body. The upper body is installed at its front surface with a display device. According to the bar-type wireless communication terminal constructed as stated above and a rotary type hinge device thereof, it is possible to provide the user with a wider choice of the terminals.
