  • Publication number: 20020134784
Abstract: A module cover is equipped with at least one door latch transmission mechanism for closing the entrance of a wafer transport module, each door latch transmission mechanism includes a door latch supported on a roller at the module cover, a latch bolt pivotally coupled between one end of the door latch and a part of the module cover, and a driving wheel coupled to the module cover and rotated to move the door latch forwards and backwards and to further turn the latch bolt in and out of a through hole on the module cover and a respective latch hole on the wafer transport module to lock/unlock the module cover.

  • Patent number: 6144180
Abstract: A robot includes a robot body, a pair of lift arms mounted pivotally on the robot body, a pair of leg support arms mounted pivotally on the lift arms, and a pair of wheeled leg assemblies mounted pivotally on each of the leg support arms. Each of the leg support arms is rotatable to turn one of the wheeled leg assemblies, which rests on the ground at the back of the other one of the wheeled leg assemblies, to a position in front of the other one of the wheeled leg assemblies, thereby moving forward the robot body. The lift arms are turnable upward or downward relative to the leg support arms to lift or lower the robot body.

  • Patent number: 5327687
Abstract: A grinding apparatus includes an upright casing with a plurality of horizontal mounting frames and a worm journalled between a top and bottom of the upright casing. Several grinding devices are respectively mounted on each of the mounting frames and can perform different grinding operations. Each of the grinding devices is connected to the worm via transmission devices. Axial rotation of the worm correspondingly moves the grinding devices in order to complement with a radius of curvature of the curved plate that is fed to the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5325581
Abstract: The device includes a clamping assembly which has a stationary upright post with upper and lower casings coaxially mounted to the upright post, a threaded shaft to adjust a vertical height of the upper and lower casings, a drilling assembly which is adjacent to the clamping assembly and which has first and second drilling bits that respectively extends toward an axis of the upright post in a parallel manner and a worm mechanism for adjusting a vertical height between the two drilling bits and an index apparatus which can rotate the clamping assembly to a predetermined angle relative to the drilling assembly. The upper and lower casings have radially movable pieces with clamping members thereon. A synchronous moving unit moves the movable pieces relative to the upright post to define a distance which is equal to a radius of curvature of a curved plate that is to be clamped and drilled by the device.

  • Patent number: 4993061
Abstract: A portable high fidelity tape player and cordless radio telephone system includes a base unit, a handset unit and a stereo unit, in which the stereo unit includes a carrier filter, a carrier receiver, a pilot tone filter, a pilot tone decorder, a modulation circuit, a set of pilot tone oscillators, and a set of integrated circuits. When a ringing signal in the service line enters the base unit while the stereo unit is playing a recording tape, the operation of the motor of the stereo unit stops and the listener is enabled to proceed with the telephone conversation. Upon completing the conversation or after the party at the end of the line has hung up, the stereo unit returns to its operating state and the user may resume listening to the recording tape.
