Abstract: Wash reagents for use with a hematology analyzer are disclosed. The wash reagents are capable of removing buildups from a vacuum shuttle chamber (VSC) of a unified fluid circuit (UFC) of the hematology analyzer without substantially damaging the UFC. The wash reagents contain at least one non-ionic surfactant that includes an ethoxylated fatty alcohol group. Also disclosed are kits containing the wash reagents (or at least the non-ionic surfactant component thereof), as well as methods of using the wash reagents to clean at least a portion of an analyzer.

Abstract: Techniques for enhancing the absorption of photons in semiconductors with the use of microstructures are described. The microstructures, such as pillars and/or holes, effectively increase the effective absorption length resulting in a greater absorption of the photons. Using microstructures for absorption enhancement for silicon photodiodes and silicon avalanche photodiodes can result in bandwidths in excess of 10 Gb/s at photons with wavelengths of 850 nm, and with quantum efficiencies of approximately 90% or more.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides packet aggregation and disaggregation methods. In the packet aggregation methods, the protocol-independent packet processor (P4) switch stores plural message headers of plural packets in the ring buffer. When the plural message headers stored in the ring buffer reach a pre-defined amount of data, the P4 switch replaces the first flag header in the current packet with a second flag header so as to form a work packet. The egress pipeline of the P4 switch recirculates the work packet repeatedly, whenever it receives a work packet, a message header is extracted from a plurality of message headers in the ring buffer and added to the working packet for packet aggregation.

Abstract: Aspects of the invention include receiving an original work written in a first style to be transformed into a derivate work written in a second style. The transforming includes accessing a similarity data structure organized to include a phrase-similarity vector space of phrase vectors representing degrees of similarity between phrases in a corpus of works written in the second style. An original sentence of the original work that includes one or more original phrases is obtained. The original phrases are located in the phrase-similarity vector space. For each of the original phrases, a similar phrase from the phrase-similarity vector space is selected based on the selected similar phrase having a phrase-similarity index corresponding to the original phrase that is greater than a predetermined phrase-similarity index threshold. The derivative work is created by replacing the original phrases in the original work with the selected similar phrases. The derivative work is output.

The first data is to-be-sent data of the first terminal apparatus, and the first time-frequency resource occupies a single slot or a plurality of consecutive slots. Abstract: A drone includes a drone main body and a parachute module. The parachute module includes a base, a housing, an inflatable material, a parachute, and an inflating device. The base is disposed on the drone main body. The housing covers the base to form a containing space therebetween. The inflatable material is disposed on the base and furled in the containing space. The parachute is connected to the inflatable material and the housing and is furled in the containing space. The inflating device is disposed on the base and connected to the inflatable material. When the inflating device inflates the inflatable material, the inflatable material expands and strikes the housing, so that the housing is separated from the drone main body, so as to increase a distance between the parachute and the drone main body and deploy the parachute. In addition, a control method of the drone is also provided.
