    Abstract: A telematics apparatus for providing driving assistance, and a system and a method are provided. The telematics apparatus receives position information indicating a current position of the telematics apparatus. The telematics apparatus transmits a request signal to the server. According to the request signal, the server obtains the position information, time information indicating a current time of the telematics apparatus, and identification information identifying a user of the telematics apparatus. The telematics apparatus displays driving assistance information received from the server which generates the driving assistance information according to the identification information, the position information, and the time information by searching through a route usage history of a plurality of routes and referring to a plurality of reference values of the routes. The reference value of each route indicates the telematics apparatus user's familiarity with that route.

    Abstract: Nuclear receptor LXR is an important member of 49 nuclear receptors in human bodies and has irreplaceable regulatory effects on cholesterol and fat metabolisms. The regulation of the biological activity of LXR may have therapeutic effects to the conditions such as cardiovascular and cerebrovascular obstructions, non-insulin dependent hyperglycemia, immune function disorders, and central nerve functional degeneration. We have developed a group of novel Chinese materia medica preparations targeting nuclear receptor LXR by using a computer-simulated docking technology and a process for determining biological activities of human cells cultured ex vivo. The group of preparations are featured by simple ingredients, low costs, easy to prepare, etc. No significant adverse effects were found in initial acute toxicology analysis which was carried out using mice.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a method of timing control for a display panel, the method comprises steps of employing a timing corrector to set a value of timing diversity; and using the timing corrector to modify the gate timing signals with identical timing to act as odd gate timing signals and even gate timing signals, and transferring the odd gate timing signals and the even gate timing signals to odd gate lines and even gate lines respectively, thereby activating the charging process, wherein the charging timing of the odd gate lines based on the odd gate timing signals is longer than the charging timing of even gate lines based on the even gate timing signals. Accordingly, the problem caused by vertical lines of the display panel can be solved.

    Abstract: A method for driving a tri-gate TFT-LCD includes providing a polarity converting common voltage. When polarity of the common voltage is converted, a first gate line is turned on for a source line to charge a first sub-pixel for a first write in duration. When the first gate line is turned off, a second gate line is turned on for the source line to charge a second sub-pixel for a second write in duration. When the second gate line is turned off, a third gate line is turned on for the source line to charge a third sub-pixel for the second write in duration. By adjusting the first write in duration the first sub-pixel can be fully charged, consequently improving the color deviation of the displayed image.

The web server passes the URL to the tree HTML page generation engine to generate the collapsible/expandable tree. The tree HTML page generation engine server will call the corresponding query modules according to the information passed in from the URL. A linked list is generated according to the results returned from one of the query modules. The linked list is then passed into the tree HTML page generation engine. The tree HTML page generation engine generates the HTML page containing nodes.

    Abstract: A container of the kind used for supplying water and/or nutrients directly into the soil adjacent the plant comprises a bottle for holding the supply of water and a cap structure which encloses one end of the bottle. The cap structure is effective to both support the bottle upright on the soil adjacent the plant and to transfer liquid downwardly from the bottle into the soil. The cap structure includes a spike which extends from an outer, flat surface of the cap so that the spike structure can be inserted into the soil until the outer, flat surface of the cap is engaged with the upper surface of the soil. The spike and the flat surface of the cap thus hold the bottle in a stable, upright position. A wick extends through an opening in the cap. The wick has an inner end immersed in the liquid within the bottle and has an outer end which is inserted into the soil.
