The shared cooling structure is configured to conduct heat relative to the battery modules. A thermal interface is disposed between the battery cells of each battery module and the shared cooling structure. Each thermal interface is configured to transition from a first thermal conductivity state to a second thermal conductivity state when heat generated by the respective battery cells exceeds a threshold level. The second thermal conductivity state is lower than the first thermal conductivity state such that after one of the thermal interfaces has transitioned from the first thermal conductivity state to the second thermal conductivity state, heat transfer from the respective battery cells to the shared cooling structure is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20220101441
Abstract: Systems and methods of assessing climate transition risk. A computing system receives a user indication of a selected climate change scenario from a remote client device. The system identifies one or more energy factors from among energy sources. The system retrieves historical financial information directed to one or more securities from remote financial data sources. The system predicts one or more future returns for the securities, by applying the historical financial data and the energy factors to at least one hierarchical linear model. The system adjusts the predicted future returns based on a first climate scenario and the selected climate scenario, to form respective first and second adjusted returns. The system generates a climate transition risk for the securities based on a spread between the first adjusted returns and the second adjusted returns. The system provides a data set representing the climate transition risk to the remote client device.

  • Patent number: 11275107
Abstract: Dynamically monitoring of an electrically-isolated power bus for a DC power system is described, and includes dynamically monitoring voltage and current on the power bus to determine a variation in the voltage on the power bus. When the variation in the voltage on the power bus is less than a threshold, an active positive isolation resistance term and an active negative isolation resistance term are determined. A first voltage balance term is determined based upon a ratio of the active positive isolation resistance term and the active negative isolation resistance term. A dynamic positive isolation resistance term and a dynamic negative isolation resistance term are determined based upon the active negative isolation resistance term. A fault associated with the power bus is determined based upon the dynamic positive isolation resistance term and the dynamic negative isolation resistance term.
