The method may include: receiving a signal to restore a firmware program in the terminal; in response to the receiving of the signal to restore the firmware program, deactivating the first storage region and activating the second storage region; and loading in the terminal the back-up firmware program stored in the activated second storage region. The disclosure may solve a problem in the related art that a firmware program can be restored only by using a flash tool, and it may achieve an effect of restoring a firmware program with the use of a single key, and thus facilitate simpler operation of the terminal by the user.
