The sealed computer chassis housing, defines an interior space and an exterior surface with a heat sink for the interior space. The heat source is disposed within the interior space. The heat spreader includes a plurality of thermally-conductive protrusions coupled to one or more components of the heat source by an intermediate thermally conductive layer. The thermal pad is positioned above and in thermal contact with the heat spreader. The thermal pad is positioned to contact an interior wall of the sealed computer chassis housing opposite to the heat sink.

    Abstract: In an image processing method, a detection image and a marked image are obtained. An image segmentation model is applied to segment a first segmented image from the detection image. The first segmented image is corrected according to the marked image to obtain a second segmented image. A size of the second segmented image is adjusted to obtain an adjusted segmented image. The adjusted segmented image is used as a standard segmented image of the detection image. The method improves accuracy of image segmentation and recognition.

    Abstract: A method for evaluating environment and surroundings of a pedestrian passageway, used in an electronic device, obtains a position information of a target area, and obtains a streetscape image corresponding to the position information of the area. The method further inputs the streetscape image into a trained convolutional neural network, makes the trained convolutional neural network carry out a convolution calculation of the streetscape image to generate a feature vector for classifying a number of target objects in the streetscape image, and outputs the feature vector. The feature vector is input into a full convolution neural network to apply a certain color to a number of pixels belonging to a same target object, and outputs the streetscape image with colored target objects.

The method can segment different objects from an image quickly and accurately.

A connector support is coupled to the heat sink support and the transceiver support. Heat from the optical transceiver is transmitted through the transceiver, connector, and the heat sink supports to the chassis heat sink.

    Abstract: A cooling system for an electronic device includes a central processing unit (CPU), a remote heat sink, and a heat-pipe module. The CPU is mounted on a base of the electronic device, and the remote heat sink receives heat generated by the CPU. The heat-pipe module has a plurality of heat pipes for transferring the heat generated by the CPU to the remote heat sink. Each heat pipe has a circular section extending between a first end and a second end. The first end has a flattened, non-circular shape, and is coupled to the base near the CPU. The second end is coupled to the remote heat sink. The first end of each heat pipe is in direct contact with at least another first end of an adjacent heat pipe.

    Abstract: For the benefit of pedestrians, a method for identifying and locating positions of obstacles moving on a pedestrian sidewalk acquires an image of the sidewalk and processes the image to divide it. The divided image comprises classifications of objects in the image on a pixel by pixel basis. The classifying of objects in the divided image comprises the sidewalk classification, and classification of the obstacles appears in the image. Pixels surrounding the obstacles are acquired in terms of number and classifications. Positions of the obstacles are determined based on a preset threshold, the classifications of adjacent pixels of the obstacles, and the pixel number of the adjacent pixel in each object classification. An apparatus and a system applying the method are also disclosed.

    Abstract: A method of operating a voltage-controlled magnetic anisotropy (VCMA) magnetic tunnel junction (MTJ) device is disclosed. The MTJ device is switchable between a first resistance state and a second resistance state. A first threshold voltage for switching the MTJ device from the second resistance state to the first resistance state is lower than a second threshold voltage for switching the MTJ device from the first resistance state to the second resistance state. The method includes applying a first voltage pulse across the MTJ device with an amplitude having an absolute value equal to or greater than the first threshold voltage and lower than the second threshold voltage, thereby setting the MTJ device to the first resistance state regardless of whether the MTJ device initially is in the first or second resistance state.

The processor receives an input image signal from the display card, and generates a control signal corresponding to the input image signal according to a refresh rate of the input image signal. When the refresh rate is greater than a threshold, the imaged image has a first resolution. When the refresh rate is less than the threshold, the light valve performs a pixel shifting operation, so that the imaged image has a second resolution. The first resolution is less than the second resolution.
