    Abstract: A system and method to ensure the proper operation of a power supply unit in an electronic device. The electronic device has a chassis with a length and a width that includes one area having electronic components. A system fan is located in the chassis relative to the electronic components to generate air flow in the direction of the length of the chassis through the electronic components. A power supply unit is located in parallel to the system fan relative to the width of the chassis. The power supply unit includes an AC input, a DC output and an internal fan. A controller is operable to control the system fan to reduce the air flow when the power supply unit turns on AC power to the AC input, or wakes up from a cold redundant state and outputs DC power from the DC output.

During a first time period, the first light beam is transmitted to a first position and the second light beam is transmitted to a second position. During a second time period, the third light beam is transmitted to the first position and the second light beam is transmitted to the second position. The projector includes an image generator, a light combiner, and a projection lens. The image generator includes light valves and generates an image beam. The light combiner includes a diffusing and filtering component, which generates a combined beam, and the image generator receives the combined beam from the diffusing and filtering component. In a first time period, the light combiner converts a first input beam into partial beams. The partial beams are transmitted to the light valves respectively. In a second time period, the light combiner receives a second input beam. The diffusing and filtering component filters out one of the partial beams, and the other of the partial beams are transmitted with the second input beam respectively to the light valves.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an image processing method for immediately producing panoramic images. In this method, two fish-eye cameras are used for capturing video information, and then, a streaming video is transmitted to an electronic device by wired or wireless technology after the video information is treated with a video encoding process and a streaming process. Therefore, an image processing application program installed in the electronic device is able to subsequently treat the streaming video with a video encoding process, a panoramic coordinates converting process, an image stitching process, and an edge-preserving smoothing process in turns, so as to eventually show a sphere panorama on the display of the electronic device. Moreover, by the utilization of a digital signal processor, the image processing application program is able to further process the sphere panorama to a plain panorama, a fisheye panorama, or a human-eye panorama.
