  • Publication number: 20200023890
Abstract: Provided is a motor controller in which a total motor torque can be changed at a constant rate if maximum torques that can be generated by winding groups of a plurality of systems lose their balance. An upper limit of a first assist control amount for a first winding group or a second assist control amount for a second winding group may be limited to a value smaller than the original upper limit. In this case, an ECU calculates the first assist control amount and the second assist control amount so that the first assist control amount and the second assist control amount reach their upper limits at the same timing relative to changes in absolute values of steering torques.

  • Publication number: 20200004191
Abstract: An image forming apparatus including: a sheet feeding roller which feeds a sheet accumulated on a tray; and a hardware processor which: detects a movement speed of the sheet currently fed by the sheet feeding roller; and calculates a difference amount between the movement speed and a first reference speed, and determines a life of the sheet feeding roller based on the difference amount, wherein the hardware processor determines whether or not to use the movement speed of a first sheet for life determination based on a relationship between the movement speed of the first sheet and the movement speed of a sheet fed before the first sheet, and if the hardware processor determines not to use the movement speed of the first sheet for the life determination, the hardware processor calculates the difference amount by excluding the movement speed of the first sheet.

  • Publication number: 20190152517
Abstract: Provided is a steering control apparatus configured to suppress the occurrence of abnormalities in components in respective systems at the same timing. A first assist torque calculation circuit calculates a first command value and a second command value based on a steering torque. A first current feedback control circuit calculates a control signal by using the first command value. A second current feedback control circuit calculates a control signal by using the second command value. When the steering torque is equal to or smaller than a steering torque threshold, the first assist torque calculation circuit executes calculation so that the first command value is larger than the second command value. After the steering torque exceeds the steering torque threshold, the first assist torque calculation circuit executes calculation so that the first command value is equal to the second command value.

  • Publication number: 20190139286
Abstract: A head up display superimposes a virtual image on an actual view in accordance with a traveling status of a vehicle. Vehicle information containing a lean of the vehicle in a pitch direction is detected by a first posture sensor, and a lean in a roll direction is detected by a second posture sensor. A controller controls display of video on the basis of the vehicle information. A mirror reflects the video to project the video to a windshield or combiner. A mirror driver changes an angle and/or a position of the mirror. At least one of a display state of the virtual image in a display area for the video or the angle and/or the position of the mirror via the mirror driver is adjusted by the controller on the basis of the lean in the pitch direction and/or the lean in the roll direction.

  • Patent number: 10266198
Abstract: There is provided a motor control device capable of preventing occurrence of a difference in command value between control systems and reducing torque ripples and noise and vibration of a motor, unlike in a case where a motor is controlled by control systems that are independent from each other. In a motor control device, at least one of parameters for a first control system is shared by both of the systems, and a first control calculation circuit and a second control calculation circuit calculate the assist command values based on the parameter. Thus, motor drive circuits of the control systems drive motor coils based on the assist command values. Namely, when the steering torques and the vehicle speeds for the control systems are all normal, assist control circuits of the control systems calculate the assist command values based on the steering torque and the vehicle speed.

  • Patent number: 10126147
Abstract: A rotation angle detection device is provided which can detect a mechanical angle of a motor having any number of pole pairs. An electrical angle detected by an AMR sensor is multiplied by ½. In the mechanical angle region of 180° to 360° where the output of the AMR sensor does not match the output of a GMR sensor, there is an offset difference of 180° between the electrical angle of the AMR sensor and the electrical angle of the GMR sensor. In this case, an offset value of 180° is added to the electrical angle of the AMR sensor. Adding the offset value in this region makes the output of the AMR sensor match the output of the GMR sensor. The AMR sensor is thus corrected. A calculated angle of the AMR sensor which is obtained by the correction is detected according to a change in mechanical angle.
