  • Publication number: 20130008868
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a substrate processing method is disclosed. The method can include treating a substrate with a first liquid. The substrate has a structural body formed on a major surface of the substrate. The method can include forming a support member supporting the structural body by bringing a second liquid into contact with the substrate wetted by the first liquid, and changing at least a portion of the second liquid into a solid by carrying out at least one of causing the second liquid to react, reducing a quantity of a solvent included in the second liquid, and causing at least a portion of a substance dissolved in the second liquid to be separated. The method can include removing the support member by changing at least a part of the support member from a solid phase to a gaseous phase, without passing through a liquid phase.

  • Patent number: 7002465
Abstract: A security system of a construction machine of the present invention has a construction machine, a base station and a communication device. The construction machine comprises a data sending and receiving portion for sending first information, a storage portion for storing received information, and a control portion for controlling an operation of the construction machine. The base station receives the first information from the data sending and receiving portion of the construction machine and sends second information to the construction machine and manages the construction machine. It is configured so that the communication device is connected to the base station through a communication network and can send third information to the construction machine through the base station.

  • Publication number: 20040017476
Abstract: First layout information for printing-specific photograph data obtained by defining a layout of a print is combined with a recipe file, and an image conversion process is performed on the printing-specific photograph data, based on the combined recipe file. Second layout information associated with the printing-specific photograph data subjected to a CMYK conversion is created. Layout data in which the first layout information is replaced with the second layout information is used as print data. This provides the print subjected to an image correction process suitable for the photograph arranged for the layout and an individual image correction process required for each subject of a photograph, and improves processing efficiency.

  • Publication number: 20010055938
Abstract: A method for the production of a glass substrate for magnetic recording mediums comprises disk-processing, grinding, polishing and cleaning steps and the method is characterized in that the grinding step is carried out using a cooling liquid and a both side-grinding device for grinding a glass substrate for magnetic recording mediums, in which thin plate-like nonferrous metal-bonded grinding wheels, resin-bonded grinding wheels or vitrified bonded grinding wheels, containing abrasive grains are adhered to the surfaces of the upper and lower surface tables of the device. The method for the production of a glass substrate for magnetic recording mediums permits the easy and efficient production of a glass substrate for magnetic recording mediums, the method does not require the use of any multistage cleaning stage under the application of ultrasonics and any acid-cleaning stage and it can thus eliminate the possibility of any contamination.

  • Patent number: 6256400
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a method of segmenting hand gestures which automatically segments hand gestures to be detected into words or apprehensible units structured by a plurality of words when recognizing the hand gestures without the user's presentation where to segment. Transition feature data in which a feature of a transition gesture being not observed during a gesture representing a word but is described when transiting from a gesture to another is previously stored. Thereafter, a motion of image corresponding to the part of body in which the transition gesture is observed is detected (step S106), the detected motion of image is compared with the transition feature data (step S107), and a time position where the transition gesture is observed is determined so as to segment the hand gestures (step S108).

  • Patent number: 4896116
Abstract: An object detection method and apparatus in which, in order to distinguish only an echo wave which is returned back from an object of interest, such as an underground buried object, from those echo waves returned back from another object of objects, the observation signal is divided (an electromagnetic wave as an echo wave) into portions, and the signal portion is converted into a corresponding frequency region to evaluate that spectral distribution and computes frequency parameter values from the spectrum distribution. The object of interest is detected by comparing the reference data of various fields with the parameters of the object of interest, extracting only an echo wave returned back from the object of interest and displaying a corresponding image.
