Abstract: Low-salt processed foods or drinks frequently taste like something is missing because of the less salty taste thereof. Although salt substitutes and flavoring agents are often used to offer a sense of satisfaction, these additives exhibit only limited effects or cause some troubles of, for example, changing the original flavor of food. Under these circumstances, the present invention addresses the problem of enhancing the salty taste of a low-salt processed food or drink without imparting any undesired taste thereto. To solve the above problem, the present inventors conducted intensive studies and, as a result, found that an effect of comfortably and naturally enhancing salty taste can be achieved by adding a composition, which comprises dietary fibers, in particular, glucan and mannan at a specific ratio, to common processed foods or drinks including low-salt processed foods or drinks.
Abstract: A measurement system includes an optical probe array including the m-number of optical probe groups arranged, each including the n-number of optical probes, the m-number of optical signal selectors each corresponding one of the optical probe groups, and a control circuit configured to control the optical signal selectors. The respective optical signal selectors select and output one of optical signals output from the n-number of the optical probes of the corresponding optical probe groups. The measurement system causes the control circuit to control the optical signal selectors to repeat the selection of the optical signals until the optical signals output from all of the optical probes included in the respective optical probe groups are selected.
Abstract: An air-fuel ratio control system (1) including an air-fuel ratio control section (3) for controlling the air-fuel ratio ? of an air-fuel mixture, an exhaust gas purifier (4); an air-fuel ratio sensor (5) whose output changes sharply when ? in the exhaust gas changes between rich and lean sides about a stoichiometric air-fuel ratio; a heater (6); and a temperature control section (7). The air-fuel ratio control section (3) controls ? based on the output of the air-fuel ratio sensor (5) using, as a target air-fuel ratio, a predetermined air-fuel ratio such that 0.980??<1.000 is satisfied, and when a change amount ?? ? is 0.008, an output difference ?V is 150 mV or smaller. The temperature control section (7) controls the temperature of the air-fuel ratio sensor (5) to a predetermined target temperature of 650° C. or higher.
