    Abstract: The present invention provides a class of iridium (III) based phosphors bearing both pincer carbene and pyrazolyl chelates. Differing from the conventional cyclometalated Ir(III) metal complexes, these novel phosphorescent Ir(III) metal complexes are synthesized from a class of pincer carbene chelate, a class of pyrazolyl-based chelate and an iridium metal source complex. Because the phosphorescent Ir(III) metal complex proposed by the present invention includes multiple strong bonding interactions (Ir—C bond), the non-radiative decay from the higher lying triplet excited state can be effectively suppressed. Thus, this novel phosphorescent Ir(III) metal complex is able to emit a range of visible light (particularly the blue light) with high color purity and high efficiency as neat sample. Moreover, this novel phosphorescent Ir(III) metal complex is also adapted as the guest emitter in the light emitting layer (EML) for the traditional doped OLED architecture.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a hinge antibody capable of being selectively activated in a target cell or tissue to treat a condition therein. The hinge antibody includes a functional antibody, two inhibitory domains and four cleavable linkers. The functional antibody is capable of treating the condition in an activated state, and has two light chains and two heavy chains. Each inhibitory domain includes a hinge domain of an immunoglobulin and consists of two peptide arms. Each cleavable linker includes a peptide substrate cleavable by an enzyme specifically or highly expressed in the target cell or tissue, and connects one of the peptide arms of the inhibitory domains to the N-terminal of one of the light chains and heavy chains of the functional antibody. Also disclosed herein are methods for preparing and using this hinge antibody.

    Abstract: A wind-power generator control system is provided. The wind-power generator control system includes a wind turbine, a power generator, a normally closed relay, and a control unit. The wind-power generator has a first output terminal and a second output terminal, and outputs a power output via the first and second output terminal when the wind turbine rotates. The normally closed relay is connected between the first and second output terminals. The control unit transmits a control signal to the normally closed relay by grid power. Also, when the normally closed relay does not receive the control signal, the first output terminal short-circuits the second output terminal by the normally closed relay for protecting the wind-power generator. When the normally closed relay receives the control signal, the first output terminal open-circuits the second output terminal by the normally closed relay for providing the power output.
