  • Publication number: 20050148166
Abstract: A structure applied to a photolithographic process is provided. The structure comprises at least a film layer, an optical isolation layer, an anti-reflection coating and a photoresist layer sequentially formed over a substrate. In the photolithographic process, the optical isolation layer stops light from penetrating down to the film layer. Since the optical isolation layer is set up underneath the photoresist layer, light emitted from a light source during photo-exposure is prevented from reflecting from the substrate surface after passing through the film layer. Thus, the critical dimensions of the photolithographic process are unaffected by any change in the thickness of the film layer.

  • Patent number: 6885179
Abstract: Voltage dividing resistors (R1a, R1b, R2a, R2b) are connected in parallel with diode connected bipolar transistors (Q1, Q2) for splitting the voltage to the inputs of an operational amplifier (62, 82). Current is provided to this arrangement by current sources (I1, I2). When the supply voltage is about 0.85 volts, a temperature insensitive reference voltage of about 200 millivolts is available at the drain of a second transistor (M2, M2).

  • Publication number: 20050011146
Abstract: This invention describes a household safe window, which has a fixed window frame, a large sash, a small sash, and a first and second linking member. The fixed window frame is embedded in a pre-formed frame. The opposite sides of the large sash, via the first linking member, are pivotally fitted into the fixed window frame, thereby enabling the large sash to open along the right or left side. The large sash is formed as a carved-through frame, which can receive the small sash. A first pivoting member is provided on the large sash, which is used to pivotally interconnect with a second pivoting member of the small sash, thereby enabling the second link member to connect with the opposite sides of the small sash to drive the window to swing up and down.

  • Publication number: 20040032123
Abstract: An angle-adjustable connector is constructed to include two coupling members connectable to a tool and an air compressor/hydraulic press respectively, a connecting tube connected between the coupling members, the connecting tube having two spherical end portions respectively coupled to the coupling members and secured thereto by steel balls for enabling the coupling members to be turned relative to the connecting tube in different directions to different angles, and a bellows sleeve connected between the coupling members around the connecting tube.

  • Patent number: 6645869
Abstract: An etching back process to improve topographic planarization of a polysilicon layer. First, a polysilicon layer is formed to fill a contact hole between two adjacent insulating structures and cover the entire surface of a semiconductor substrate to a predetermined height, in which a sunken portion is formed in the polysilicon layer over the contact hole. Then, a bottom antireflective coating (BARC) layer is formed to fill the sunken portion and cover the entire surface of the polysilicon layer. Next, in a first etching step, the BARC layer outside the sunken portion of the polysilicon layer is removed and the BARC layer in the sunken portion of the polysilicon layer is retained to flatten the bottom of the sunken portion.

  • Publication number: 20030192671
Abstract: A heat pipe (10) includes a main body (12), an inner layer (16), a chamber (13) and working material (18). The main body is made of metallic material having a high heat-transfer coefficient. The chamber is surrounded by the inner layer, and is substantially a vacuum. The working material is sealed in the chamber. The inner layer is fixed to an inner surface of the main body. The inner layer is inert to the working material, and isolates the working material from the main body. Furthermore, the working material readily globularizes when it is in contact with the inner layer.

  • Publication number: 20020180811
Abstract: Methods, system, and articles of manufacture consistent with certain feature related to the present invention allow a computing device including an interactive display device to distinguish between pointer events. The computing device may determine a position displacement associated with a user-controlled pointer interaction with the display device and compare the position displacement with an error threshold value to determine a type of operation to perform on the display device.

  • Patent number: 6262708
Abstract: Systems and methods for rendering a complex character suitable for display on a monitor are provided. A raw character bitmap representing the complex character is filtered to form a filtered bitmap so as to reduce the effects of monitor flicker and enhance image contrast. The filtered bitmap is then scaled down to a target bitmap using a bilinear scaling operation followed by recursive cubic scaling operations. The target bitmap is suitably sized for storage in a memory device coupled to the monitor.
