The connecting section protrudes from the housing beside the at least one LED. The through hole of the housing is defined through the connecting section. The connecting device is connected with the connecting section and has a rod section which is mounted through the through hole of the housing.

Abstract: A method and an electronic device for synchronizing information of dual operating systems and a recording medium are provided. The method is used for synchronizing information of a first operating system and a second operating system when an electronic device is switching from a first operating system to a second operating system. First, the second operating system sends an information requesting message to a controller of the electronic device when the first operating system is switched to the second operating system. The controller checks if the first operating system operates in a work mode. If the first operating system operates in the work mode, the controller forwards the information requesting message to the first operating system, so as to obtain the information of the first operating system. Finally, the second system synchronizes the information recorded therein according to the obtained information.

Abstract: A URL reputation system may have a reputation server and a client device with a cache of reputation information. A URL reputation query from the client to the server may return reputation data along with probabilistic set membership information for several variants of the requested URL. The client may use the probabilistic set membership information to determine if the reputation server has additional information for another related URL as well as whether the classifications are inheritable from one of the variants. If the probabilistic set membership determines that the reputation server may have additional information, a query may be made to the reputation server, otherwise the reputation may be inferred from the data stored in the cache.

Abstract: The use of Bupleurum kaoi ERF gene in controlling diseases caused by pathogen is provided. The gene with pathogen-resistance is inserted into an appropriate vector, and transformed into plants to enhance the pathogen-resistance so as to attain the purpose of controlling the related diseases. This invention can be applied to the agricultural industry, the pharmaceutical industry, and the food industry.

Abstract: Disclosed are nucleic acid constructs comprising coding sequences operably linked to a promoter not natively associated with the coding sequence. The coding sequences encode Pichia stipitis proteins that allow recombinant strains of Saccharomyces cerevisiae expressing the protein to grow on xylose, and allow or increase uptake of xylose by Pichia stipitis or Saccharomyces cerevisiae expressing the coding sequences. Expression of the coding sequences enhances uptake of xylose and/or glucose, allowing increased ethanol or xylitol production.

Abstract: A method for minimizing call drops during a serving cell change is disclosed. A first measurement report message is received from a user equipment (UE) requesting to change an active set of the UE. A second measurement report message is received from the UE indicating a change of a best cell and requesting a change of a serving cell to a target cell. The second measurement report message is processed before the first measurement report message is completely processed.

Abstract: A polishing system and associated methods are described for polishing a magnetic disk used in a disk drive system. The polishing system includes a polishing film that is used to polish the magnetic disk. The polishing system also includes an actuator operable to move the polishing film across a surface of the magnetic disk to polish the magnetic disk. The polishing system also includes a pad having at least one protrusion extending from a surface of the pad. The protrusion is configured to contact the polishing film and press the polishing film against the magnetic disk. The protrusion is operable to compress to about the surface of the pad when in contact with the polishing film. Once polishing is complete, the pad retracts from the polishing film and the protrusion extends from the pad, reducing the adhesion force between the pad and the polishing film.

When a network connection between a local or host computing device and one or more remote computing devices is present, remote items are represented using the same methodology as items located on the host computing device. To the user, remote and local items are indistinguishable. When the network connection is lost or items located on a remote computer are otherwise unavailable, the unavailable items remain represented on the host computing device. Unavailable items are represented in a way that informs the user that the items may not be fully accessed.

In fabricating the periphery region of the flash memory, the low voltage gate oxides and high voltage gate oxides are grown to the same height as each other prior to STI etching. After STI etching and gap fill, the nitride above the high voltage gate oxide regions are etched, and the oxide in high voltage gate oxide regions is grown to the appropriate thickness for a high voltage gate oxide.

Abstract: A method of designing and verifying 3D integrated circuits (3D IC) including providing a first layout corresponding to a first device of a 3D IC. The first layout includes a first interface layer. A second layout corresponding to a second device of the 3D IC is also provided. The second layout includes a second interface layer. A verification of the 3D is performed by verifying the first and second interface layers. The verification includes performing at least one of a design rule check (DRC) or a layout-versus-schematic (LVS) on the first and/or second interface layers.

Abstract: A method of designing a 3D integrated circuit (3D IC) including providing a first layout corresponding to a first device of a 3D IC and a second layout corresponding to a second device of a 3D IC is provided. A verification, such as LVS or DRC, may be performed not only on each device separately, but may also be performed to ensure proper connectivity between devices. The verification may be performed on a single layout file (e.g., GDS II file) including the interface layer of the first and second die. Dummy feature pattern may be determined for the 3D IC using a layout including the interface layers of the first and second devices.
