Abstract: A bicycle saddle is composed of a main body, a support frame, two shock-absorbing devices, and a bridge. The main body has a shape narrowing toward the front end thereof and is provided in the underside of the rear end thereof with two fastening posts. The main body is mounted on the support frame which is formed of two steel bars such that the front ends of the steel bar are joined together and fastened with the front end of the main body. Two steel bars have a hooked rear end. The shock-absorbing devices are fastened with the fastening posts of the main body and the hooked rear ends of the support frame and are composed of a cap, a shock-absorbing pad, and a base. The shock-absorbing pad has one end which is retained in the cap, and another end which is provided with a recess for retaining a conical portion of the base. The hooked rear ends of the support fame are engaged with the bases of the two shock-absorbing devices.

Abstract: A method for printing in a frugal way to save ordinary print paper from unnecessary loss in a facsimile machine specifies the effective print length for a sheet of the print paper, which includes the steps of: receiving one sheet data, determining whether the amount of the received one sheet data exceeds the effective print length, determining whether the effective print length is greater than the sum of a predetermined length of the TTI region and the length of the substantial content of the received one sheet data if the amount of the received one sheet data exceeds the effective print length, and printing the received one sheet data with the TTI overlapping the upper margin of the effective print length if the effective print length is greater than or equal to the sum of the predetermined length of the TTI region and the length of the substantial content of the received one sheet data.

Abstract: A bicycle saddle includes a saddle body with a front converging portion and a rear diverging portion, a front mounting socket member formed at the bottom side of the front converging portion, a pair of spaced rear mounting posts which project downwardly from the bottom side of the rear diverging portion, a support rod with a converging bent front end to be mounted to the front mounting socket member and two diverging arms with bent hook portions to be mounted on the rear mounting posts respectively, and a pair of hook engaging members, each of which has a peripheral groove. Each hook portion extends around the respective hook engaging member and is received in the peripheral groove thereof. The hook engaging members are mountable on the mounting posts respectively after engaging the hook portions.

Abstract: A bicycle saddle includes a saddle body, a front mounting socket member, a pair of spring cantilevers, and a bracket. The saddle body has a front converging portion, a rear diverging portion and a downwardly extending skirt portion. The front mounting socket member is formed at the bottom side of the front converging portion. The spring cantilevers extend from the internal face of the skirt portion toward one another so that a space is formed between the spring cantilevers and the bottom side of the rear diverging portion. Each of the spring cantilevers has an engaging portion formed at the free end thereof. The bracket has a converging bent front end which is inserted into the front mounting socket member and a pair diverging arms. Each of the diverging arms has a free end which engages a respective one of the engaging portions of the spring cantilevers.

Abstract: The bicycle saddle of a bicycle saddle assembly includes a rigid saddle body which is formed as a looped member and which has a front portion with a nose, an intermediate portion and a rear portion. The saddle body has a width which increases gradually from the nose to the rear portion and defines an opening. The saddle body has a periphery defining the opening which is formed with a plurality of spring retaining holes. The bicycle saddle further includes a rigid spring retaining plate which has a periphery formed with a plurality of spring retaining holes, and a plurality of elongated coil springs, each of which has a first end secured to one of the retaining holes in the saddle body and a second end secured to one of the retaining holes in the retaining plate. The coil springs extend radially in different directions from the retaining plate to the saddle body to enable the bicycle saddle to absorb shock in a plurality of directions when the saddle assembly is in use.

Abstract: A bicycle saddle includes a saddle body, an opening formed through the saddle body and a plurality of spring-retaining holes formed along the periphery of the opening. The bicycle saddle further includes a spring-retaining assembly and a plurality of elongated coil springs connected between the saddle body and the spring-retaining assembly under tension. The spring-retaining assembly includes at least one first connecting member having a threaded hole. The spring-retaining assembly further has at least one second connecting member which has a counterbore. At least one screw member extends through the counterbore of the second connecting member and engaging the threaded hole of the first connecting member to engage the first and second connecting members. Therefore, the first and second connecting members can be moved with respect to one another by rotating the screw member.

Abstract: A saddle includes a saddle body, a foam, a covering, and two elastic bodies. The saddle body is made of a hard elastic material and is coated with the foam. The foam is coated with the covering. The saddle body has two accommodating holes formed therethrough and located at two positions in the saddle body under a portion of the covering, on which portion a user normally sits. The elastic bodies are made of a soft elastic material and are retained within the accommodating holes in such a manner that the top ends of the elastic bodies extend from the accommodating holes. Accordingly, the elastic bodies can absorb the shock of two portions of the foam, which two portions are located above the elastic bodies. The saddle body has two retaining units so that the elastic bodies can be retained on the saddle body.

Abstract: A saddle support of a metal tubular body is mounted to the bottom side of a bicycle saddle and has a front section, a substantially horizontal intermediate section, and a rear section. The front section has a substantially horizontal V-shaped portion connected to a front section of the bottom side of the bicycle saddle, and a diverging portion having two downwardly inclined arms which extend rearwardly and respectively from two ends of the horizontal V-shaped portion. The intermediate section has two parallel arms which extend rearwardly and respectively from distal ends of the downwardly inclined arms. The rear section has two upwardly inclined arms which extend rearwardly and respectively from distal ends of the parallel arms. Each of the upwardly inclined arms of the rear section has a rear end which supports a rear section of the bottom side of the bicycle saddle.

Abstract: A bus connector comprising a base, an upper shell and a terminal unit, wherein said upper shell has resistor chambers for holding resistors from a bus and an elongated board at the front bottom edge thereof which is tightly pressed on the bus main track to which the connector is connected to seal off dust, and wherein said terminal unit has four terminals made in the same shape and respectively retained in four parallel grooves on the bottom edge of the base.

Abstract: A cable connector comprising a plastic core covered with a cap and fastened in a short copper tube at one end. By engaging a plurality of raised portions at the inside of the cap in a plurality of notches around the periphery of the front projecting end of the plastic core, the cap is firmly attached to the plastic core and, the plug holes on the plastic core are respectively automatically longitudinally aligned with the holes on the cap for fastening terminals tightly. After having been covered with the cap, the plastic core is fastened in the short copper tube at one end to incorporate with the short copper tube into a consolidated piece convenient for performing further outer shell resin molding process.

Abstract: For electrically connecting the bus line from a machine to an IC mounting seat of the electric control circuit of another machine, a cable connector is disclosed comprising a plug seat, an upper cover and a terminal assembly fastened therebetween. The plug seat further comprises an elongated locating seat having a plurality of grooves alternatively vertically disposed at two opposite sides and obliquely aligned with two rows of mounting slots at the two opposite sides thereof for holding the connecting racks of the terminal assembly in place when the contact ends of the terminal assembly are fastened in the mounting slots, as such the bus line at one end of a cable from a machine can be accurately fastened in place and electrically connected to the connecting racks of the terminal assembly, thus, providing for further electric connection to the IC mounting seat of an electric control circuit of another machine through the plug seat.

Abstract: A base-bar type electrical connector, comprised of a base, an electrical contact assembly, a ribbon cable fastener and a stress eliminator. The electrical contact assembly is comprised of a plurality of conductors fastened in the base at the bottom with forked terminals projecting over the top surface of the base so that a ribbon cable can be placed thereon and squeezed by the ribbon cable fastener to force the forked terminals to pierce through the ribbon cable permitting the conductors in the ribbon cable to electrically retained at the fork of the forked terminals. The stress eliminator has two hook portions respectively hooked up with the base at two opposite ends so as to firmly secure the ribbon cable fastener to the base against any possible stress. The base has a dovetail groove at the bottom conveniently for mounting on a bus-bar main track through dovetail joint to electrically connect the ribbon cable to a bus-bar.

Abstract: An adapter connector with improved electric shielding property, comprising two symmetrical receptacles respectively connected to an adapter at two opposite sides and fastened inside a copper sleeve. The adapter is comprised of two symmetrical blocks connected side by side through stub mortise-and-tenon joint with two arched strip conductors fastened therein for alternative connection thereto of the two terminals of each receptacle to form an electric circuit. A plurality of beads are made on the inner wall of the copper sleeve and longitudinally aligned with each other for guiding the receptacles through a slide way so that the plug pins of one receptacle can be conveniently electrically connected to and inserted inside the plug pins of the other receptacle permitting the plug pins of the other receptacle to press against the inner wall of the copper sleeve for grounding.

Abstract: A receptacle for cable connector with locking mechanism and electric shielding property, which includes a socket having a circular recessed portion at the front end for the setting therein of a metal hoop to hold a dielectric core. The metal hoop comprises a plurality of resilient strips projecting from its inner wall surface and disposed in a gap between the socket and the dielectric core so as to produce a retaining force onto the metal fastening tube of the cable plug which is inserted therein to reinforce the connection and improve electric shielding effect. An opening is made on the metal hoop so that a channel is defined between the metal hoop and the circular recessed portion of the socket for the fastening therein of the unitary hook portion of the metal fastening tube of the cable plug.

Abstract: A receptacle for computer mother board connectors with a self-locking and electric shielding mechanism, which includes a rubber core (1) incorporated with a metal ring (2) and received in a metal casing (3). The rubber core (1) is unitarily made of rubber material through a shape molding process, and has a circular slot (13) on its front end, or top, for the insertion therein of the metal ring (2), two recessed holes (14) and two fastening holes (15) at both opposite sides for securing the metal ring and the metal casing to provide good electric shielding.
