Abstract: A matrix board-to-board connector includes a receptacle connector having a first housing with a plurality of first contacts received therein and a plug connector having a second housing with a plurality of second contacts received therein. The first contact has a middle-connecting portion, two touching pins and at least one first soldering leg. The second contact has a touching portion, two guiding pins and at least one second soldering leg. The first contact extends between the two guiding pins of the second contact, the touching portion of the second contact is inserted between the two touching pins of the first contact, and the two touching pins clip the touching portion of the second contact.

Abstract: A board-to-board connector assembly with function of EMI shielding shields includes a receptacle connector and a plug connector. The receptacle connector includes a receptacle housing and a first shielding shell fixed to and encircling the receptacle housing. The plug connector includes a plug housing and a pair of second shielding shells respectively having a base plate and a pair of arms extending vertically from two ends of the base plate for hugging the two opposite end portions of the plug housing. The base plate contacts the elastic arms of the first shielding shell. At least one of the first and second shielding shells has a grounding means for soldering to a corresponding printed circuit board.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a flexible printed circuit board connector including a housing, a sliding cover and a pair of support nails. A pair of guiding grooves and insertion holes is defined in sidewalls of the housing for receiving the support nails. A protruding portion is formed on each support nail to form a pivotal hole between the protruding portion and inner surfaces of the groove. The sliding cover has a pair of cam shafts rotatably supported in the pivotal holes. The cross section of each cam shaft has an utmost protrudent point which brushes past an inner surface of the pivotal hole when flipping the sliding cover. The length of the longest chord of the cross section that passes the utmost protrudent point is longer than the distance between the inner surface brushed by the utmost protrudent point and its opposite inner surface of the pivotal hole.

Abstract: A matrix board to board connector assembly includes a first connector and a second connector. A first locking piece is provided and fixed on the first connector. The first locking piece has a locking portion bend from a lower edge thereof and extending sideward and outward. A second locking piece is provided with an elastic portion and fixed on the second connector. The elastic portion is configured to provide a spring end. The spring end is firstly protruded and then concaved at its free end. During mating of the first and the second connectors, the spring end is firstly deflected and then elastically recovered to hit on the locking portion with a click to insure that the first and the second connectors have been properly mated.

Abstract: A flexible printed circuit connector includes a housing with contact chambers for receiving a plurality of contacts. The housing sets engagement recesses, first sliding grooves and protrusions on both side surfaces thereof. A bottom cover is mounted on the housing at the underside thereof to define a first receiving space for receiving a first flexible printed circuit. A top cover is mounted on the housing on the top thereof to define a second receiving space for containing a second flexible printed circuit. The top cover is engaged with the bottom cover to retain the two flexible printed circuits reliably and precisely.
